I love the Clinique poppy red lipstick on you, it’s very fresh and youthful. I have Clinique lipsticks in Baby Kiss, Delovely and Berry Blush. Berry Blush is amazing in summer time, extremely moisturising with a sexy ‘my lips but better’ lipgloss effect. The Clinique makeup consultants selected these 3 lipsticks for me.

Pillow talk is garbage on me. I threw it in the bin, looks exactly like my lips no enhancement. Does nothing for me. Garbage. Your lips already have a ton of colour when you swatch. Very misleading.

Most of these are very expensive. But if you only wear just one shade. Then it’s worth buying. But if you’re someone who buys ten different shades, then absolutely, it’s too much.

I don't get the Tom Ford one, I was excited to try it but it's just run of the mill rose/mauve and looks like a drugstore lipstick on, it highlights every crinkle on the lip too. What a swizz!! Thanks for the video though.

Hi Ali. I would like for you to do this video in this current year. Some of the colors you demonstrated are no longer available. You may consider Revlon for lipsticks. I have used Chanel, Tillbury, Ford as well as some of the others you recommended, and I have found that Revlon has the best texture and feel on my lips. Of course, this is MY opinion. Revlon's FIRE and Ice is CLASSIC. Revlon also has many, many colors to choose from. I would love to see another of your videos with recommended colors :D

Thank you, Andrea! Im a lipstick fanatic and I’m in love with Chanel Ultrawear Shine Liquid Lip Colour in Timeless #80 - just purchased my second one. You can tap a bit on your lips and wear it as a stain or go bold. Reminds me of a lacquer but soft and doesn’t transfer much when it sets. Def worth the price. I think it comes in about 20 something shades. My favorite on you was the Lisa Eldridge red. Oh my! Beautiful on you!

Let me say fIrst that you have beautiful full pink/rose lips which would look AMAZING with any lipstick brand and any shade. The Chanel 402 looks on you as a soft mauve color, but when you go to the Chanel, Nordstrom, & Sephora websites..., the color Adrienne (402) looks orangy/brownish - which it's indeed a nude shade as well..., but it does NOT look like it looks on you. Not as one looks at the lipstick itself AND not in the swatch presented...

The bottom line..., if you don't want to continue doing a constant trial and error or having to return the shade you bought (again and again), one HAS to try the lipstick at the store AND use makeup remover EVERY time you 're about to try a different shade.

Not only because you're so beautiful and classy, and present various makeup styles..., but because you concentrate on the technique which is of utmost importance - and you genuinely master that.
