Are there any pedals that you think should have made this list? Tell us about them in the comments below!
ОтветитьJoyo has a lot of great affordable clones.
ОтветитьОтличный звук. Исторический
ОтветитьI guess Nashville has gone cosmopolitan and pop today. No mention of a compressor pedal? But then again, that's a country pedal more than pop. Some days when I'm scanning radio stations when I drive into a new radio territory I have to listen for a while to determine if the radio station is a pop station or a country station. I don't always recognize the names of modern "country" artists (or are they "crossover" artists?) and it's difficult to distinguish between today's country and pop music genres.
ОтветитьI think I misunderstood what the "nashville" sound is.
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьI don't understand why folks who claim they swear they gotta use all vintage and analog gear, especially these pedals, and then they send them through a digital effects processor and cause an analog to digital to analog signal chain before the amp. It seems like if you're trying to hit the front end of the amp with all that analog goodness, which is supposed to give the proper feel and response with the tubes, that inserting these conversions up front undermines what Nashville guys profess to be trying to achieve.
Ответить“Nashville” pedals and every one is just basic rock sounds
ОтветитьBeen hearing a lot of good stuff coming from East Nashville lately. Guthrie Tripp, Jack Ruch.....
ОтветитьTrue Tone’s power supply
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your performance in School of Rock!!!
ОтветитьThe ODR1 has not mid boost at all. On a spectral analyzer with pink noise, it is completely flat until you turn it up past 3 o'clock when it starts to boost upper lows and highs. Which makes it mid scooped. Wampler has a video on it.
ОтветитьNice video Mason. I think The Timmy is another fantastic boost pedal similar to the Xotic. It can also be an “always on” box. 🎸🙏🏼
ОтветитьI'd have thought a compressor would have made the Rushmore of Nashville pedals but I have the GE7 and the TR2 on my board. I think a good slapback analog delay would be a Nashville pedal as well...I use a 78 680 DOD analog delay for that and as an A/B splitter as it has a remote output.
ОтветитьSorry but this guy seems like kind of a hack.
ОтветитьI use a tubescreamer before the ODR-1 Nobels.
ОтветитьWish you would have done a before and after, so… we can hear what the pedals a actually doing….
ОтветитьCOMPRESSION
ОтветитьWhat's an are pay g o
ОтветитьGet a modeler lol save you thousands on niche pedals that no one will notice
ОтветитьA great amp with the best reverb ever.......and you are using Line 6 reverb???? Gotcha......
Ответить800 bucks for the mostortion
ОтветитьWhy not mention that life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane? That would’ve been totally appropriate.
ОтветитьNo compressor?
ОтветитьI still see that Greer Amps - Lightspeed. As transparent as it gets.
ОтветитьNever thought I would see the day when clones were the only affordable option. Pedals are going for more than rack effects.
ОтветитьPer your advice, I’m running an input and output buffer on my board which is making a noticeable improvement. Is the ODR 1 a good candidate for a buffered board?
ОтветитьDrunkle Larry is a baby. He blocks you if you don’t kiss his ass. 😀
ОтветитьWhat I’ve learned from this is, if you want to ‘stand out in a mix’, just turn your guitar up so it’s way louder than all the rest of the instruments!
ОтветитьI have two ODR-1s...I am hot a high gain player, but there is more on tap with this pedal. I would recommend it, like many people who are way more knowledgeble than I.. :)
ОтветитьYou lost me at "A Rascall Flatts Song...." They did a version... a sub-standard one... the Tom Cochrane version will ALWAYS be the DEFINITIVE version....
ОтветитьI realize I'm late, but ya' gotta have a Deluxe Memory Man or else some type of Strymon delay in there. Nashville session guys use delay on their pedalboards. 🙃
ОтветитьBro… Life is a Highway is gonna be stuck in my head for days now. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьGreat enjoyable vid, love that song and the tones you achieve in the process, ended up purchasing a Nobles ODR1 and i freaking love the thing.
ОтветитьHi Mason, great overview , fantastic sounds. Thank a lot 👍
Ответитьtoo much talk😮💨
ОтветитьHow can you mention great guitar players from Nashville and not mention Vince Gill? For the petty folks who were about to tell me he is from Oklahoma, I know…he was born there, but he has lived in Nashville for decades and is from there.
ОтветитьVoodoo Sparkle Drive!?
ОтветитьI think now a days, the Greer Lightspeed is slowly bringing itself into the Nashville Pedals Hall of Fame.
ОтветитьThis video is cringe
ОтветитьBest players in the world in Nashville? Yes, if you like everyone sounding exactly the same, dialing up a sound to fit the same formula every Nashville producer uses.
ОтветитьI love my ODR-1 but I use a mesa highwire for my buffering. Do you think I should switch it out for something true bypass like a Wampler Belle? What would you recommend?
ОтветитьLife is a highway was originally done by the great Tom Cochrane! Often imitated…never duplicated. A real Canadian treasure!!
ОтветитьWhat about a compressor?
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!! Great information!
When I bought my first tremolo pedal I compared the Boss to a Nobels TR-X. The Nobels sounded better to me , damn I sold it years ago, I have to buy it again. What is your oppinion on the Nobels TR-X?
Life is a Highway in the Cars coverversion sounds more countrylike and more modern, what do you think about the original? To me it sounded more organic.
Such a well done video, thx Mason!
ОтветитьWho the F is Rascal Flatts? It's Tom Cochrane!! ;)
ОтветитьThanks for the breakdown of a Nashville pedalboard. Very informative!!
ОтветитьDood...Rascal Flatts isn't country...you lost me there. Keith Urban is also debatable.
ОтветитьVery articulate presentation my friend. Nice job.
