Why do aircraft deliberately run over the centre runway lights? Wouldn't it put less strain on the front undercarriage, cockpit instruments, etc. to run immediately to the side of those lights? You can see and hear the loud banging as they power along the runway...

I wonder if flying at night in pitch black darkness is scary or unnerving. Seeing absolutely nothing. Having to completely depend and trust all of your auto flight controls, sats, radars etc. .not knowing if you are flying into the side of a mountain or into the ocean. I'm sure you get used to it but I can totally understand how pilots can get all turned around not knowing if the ocean is below or above etc.

Somethings wrong. Two engines on a wing each 15k thousand pounds? that's 30k pounds without fuel in one wing? No way the wing is able to flap in the air with all that weight on it.

This beast has way more LCD-screens (with endless sub-systems and double and triple functions to activate) compared to the A320. It´s systems can be compared with the A350 and I am really curious how far the FlyByWire team will go recreating la bestia :D The cockpit surely will be awesome in VR. A true battle of the titans is coming soon: Fenix A320 V2 versus FBW A320.
