The show pushed maddie as a star and a leader so we all failed to realize the high, unrealistic standards she as a child was held to. Abby and Melissa were never looking out for her best interest but theirs. Melissa telling her "you never miss dance" like her saying she wants to go home isn't an indicator of how much pain she must've been in. She said Maddie was a perfectionist but failed to mention how she forced Maddie to always do more, to be more and to demand more because she wanted her child to be #1. A thing she didn't care to do for Kenzie. It's seriously sad.
