I like the Xiaomi devices but my 11 T pro only lasted 6 months, it is now in for repairs but was advised they do not have spare parts for them in our country. Hopefully they are going to give me a new device.

I just found this Mi 11 has that annoying ultrasonic proximity sensor from the company called Elliptic Labs.

I hope this phone has normal proximity sensor! I had Poco F3 that has ultrasonic proximity sensor that often failed to switch the screen off when you talk and often it turned the screen on when you talk and you accidentally touch a speaker icon with your cheek and loudspeaker turns on. This basically made it impossible to use as a phone. Screen protector was not covering the top of the screen so I don't think the problem was created with the screen protector. All in all I had to sell the Poco F3.

MI 11 series camera island design is currently the best unique looking they've ever designed.. better looking than 12 series..

Bought this phone 1 year ago.and today its dead.motherboard burned allover.suddenly.prior to that wifi started going down first.probably issue with hardware.never give my child play with this phone,rarely falldown and put under hot weather.but suddenly burned down

Too bad xiaomi,eventhough cheap price with great screen.but not recommended bad hardware.

Even the camera bad,battery lifespan not good,the only good one is price and chip.

Thanks to your review I bought this device and sold my s20 ultra 2 months later I no longer can Use WiFi or hotspot I've reset the phone lost everything and still won't work the phone is a mean peice of kit but it's overheating all the time even when not in use I paid alot of money for my mi 11 and I'm absolutely gutted xiaomi are the worst customer service to deal with ever I'm having no luck whatsoever in getting my device repaired or replaced I've followed you for years and always gone with your personal favourites when it comes to smartphones but no longer I'm so angry

Hey dude, I love your frank way of speaking and going on without no holds barred!. Your review has helped me gain insight into the Mi 11. I do have a favour to ask. I've now got a Poco F1 since 2018 and am looking for something to upgrade to!. I'm only concerned with the RAM/ROM, speed, storage and ease of use! I'm not really fussed about cameras. As far as the safety is concerned, I usually buy a protective case. I was hoping you could recommend me a new replacement for my poco F1, bearing everything in mind I've already said.

Awful battery life. Have to charge at least 2-3 times a day. And that's without gaming or video.

Any chance of a tips and tricks video to get the best out of the handset, including battery life and charging, and camera settings, screen settings, etc.

Dam I loved my Mi 10 but it's time for a change - Mi 11 OR Fold Z2? Both under £800 I do have the Xiaomi 55W Wireless charger. Now that gets ME moist at full speed (which this does as we know)
