75% off on Steam now!
ОтветитьThank you for the review, exactly what I was looking for to decide if I buy this game
ОтветитьSony, Nintendo, Microsoft, android, apple. They all take 30% why you single out steam? Also Ubisoft came crawling back to steam. And anno 1800 is available again. Gee I wonder why
ОтветитьRTX 3080Ti 12GB and i9 9900k.. and 20-40 fps on high settings.. had to steam refund the game sadly.
ОтветитьPeople who don't like the Epic store aren't "crying." Other than that mistake, good video.
ОтветитьWould be cool if the person youre co-oping with could raise their army and revolt against you... civilwar sort of thing
ОтветитьGraphics look great too😉
ОтветитьTY Mack
ОтветитьCan't believe you missed Tropico 6! Plays very similar but the campaign is well written and funny
ОтветитьI used to really like playing Caesar IV as a kid and this seems a lot like it
ОтветитьI can’t wait it’s coming to console!
ОтветитьNever get into an alliance.
It’ll just drag you into a war.
Non aggression pact: yes
Alliance: no
If it’s not on Steam, I don’t buy it.
ОтветитьDamn mack how are you running such a large positive balance?
ОтветитьThanks for turning me onto this game
ОтветитьThis game look like a headache to play. I needed 2 aspirin just watching the review!
The review is fine, but I’ll pass on the game.
OK, you made me buy the game. This is how you amke a game fun to play.
ОтветитьShe's choking what?
ОтветитьSteam is using the cut to make good shit... Epic is just Jizzing on their cut.
ОтветитьAnno 1800 is so beautiful, it sets the standard for beautiful art direction and graphics in a City Builder. Back in the day Age of Empires 3 did the same for RTS when it came out, compared to the blocky nature of Warcraft 3 AOE3 was on a whole different level. It was like a Constable painting that you could actually play in. AOE4 dropping that art direction and returning to AOE2's was particularly devastating for me, I had waited SO LONG for AOE4, and I envisioned a game that exceeded Anno 1800 and was at least on the level of Total War: Warhammer 2.
ОтветитьI fear the day when Anno 2022 is a thing.
ОтветитьMy last city builder game was SimCity 2000 from 1993, but might pick this one up after watching your review as it is on discount right now on EGS.
ОтветитьNice vid
ОтветитьThis has got to be the funniest review of a game I've watched 😆
ОтветитьSadly the game runs like complete ass on newer cards
ОтветитьAfter your new video about Settlers, I have to go back to this one just to say that's was the last good ubisoft game
ОтветитьYou said you never plaid an anno game before, in that case, i highly suggest you take a look at anno 1404 (with its expansion) it is probably the best title of the series. Closly followed by 2070 and 1800.
ОтветитьAs an old time 1404 and 1701 anno fan, after playing 2070 and 2205, I'm really happy how 1800 turned out. They got back to their roots and understood what made the old time games great.
ОтветитьLove your reviews Mac
ОтветитьStill playing this game all these years later, one of the best PC series ever.
ОтветитьPlayed 1404 and fell in love. Recently got 1880 and falling in love with it. There's a lot to learn
Ответитьi was thinking of this game and this review helped, it sound like a micro management hell ill pass
ОтветитьDid I just hear you suddenly say "my girlfriend is beating a chicken"?
ОтветитьMack which RTS/Strategy game would you recommend out of the big list you've reviewed? I only really play Starcraft but I'm looking to try something else...
ОтветитьSo in a nutshell...It is yet another clone of previous games in different era. It is grindy...again and again until it gets to much of AgainAndAgains so you can invite coop person to f*ck up your game and plans....SO AWESOME!
HARD PASSSSSS OMG
After getting game pass u see how steam sucks
Ответить"bananas, what the f*ck? never seen a banana before"
ОтветитьThis is the only game that has given me tendinitis.
ОтветитьStill not on Steam. I liked Anno 2205 quite a bit and I would buy this, but I’m a Steam guy. Oh well.
Ответитьis it better than Civ VI?
ОтветитьThanks for the link to the guide. I was getting trounced in the tutorial!
ОтветитьI think on the quests to find someone you just click on the quest and it jumps to the location he is
ОтветитьI was interested in this game but I had to stop the video and disregard the game 47 seconds in when you said it's not available on Steam.
Thanks for the review, I'm sure it was great, like all your content tends to be.
Cheers!
one advantage of this game over similar games of this genre is that i haven't seen any of the peasants wearing pajamas. lol : ))
ОтветитьLove the game and totally agree with the campaign. The first 'cinematic' with the burial annoyed me enough to quit and start back in sandbox. lol
Ответитьwell said about the campaign/tutorial. If anything, it put me off the game. Really poorly designed and very, very annoying. The other part of this game that is frustrating is trading and managing trade routes.
ОтветитьHow does this compare to cities skylines? Really like that game and this sounds quite similar to it?
ОтветитьCould you take a look at “airborne kingdom” if not already. Think you will really like it. Downloading this game now. Great review
ОтветитьYES! Thank you for saying it, the tutorial is VERY, VERY BAD!, I bought the game last year, I got stuck on the tutorial couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do and I haven't played it since! it's just been sitting on my desktop and it felt like such a waste and recently I just uninstalled it because I felt it was too difficult, and thats saying something because I really enjoy other city builders like Banished, Tropical, They are Billions, and Crusader kings 3.
