എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് മോശം അനുഭവം ആണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. രണ്ട് വർഷം ആയി SBI General Insurance ആയിരുന്നു എടുത്തിരുന്നത്, കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം അതിൽ നിന്നും port ചെയ്ത് കഷ്ട കാലത്തിന് parrents നു വേണ്ടി care health Supreme ന്റെ plan എടുത്തത്,
പ്ലാൻ എടുത്തിരുന്ന സമയത്ത് existing disease എല്ലാം genuine ആയി പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടാണ് policy എടുത്തതു,
ഉപ്പക്ക് പ്രമേഹം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു (അത് ഭക്ഷണ ക്രമീകരണത്തിലൂടെയും കൃത്യമായ മരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും controlled ആയിരുന്നു).
കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം നെഞ്ച് വേദന അനുഭവപ്പെട്ട് father നെ ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വന്നു,
test ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ ബ്ലോക്ക് ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു തുടർന്ന് ആngioplasty ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വന്നു,
ഇവർക്ക് claim കൊടുത്തപ്പോൾ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി claim reject ആക്കി,
അവർ കാരണം പറയുന്നത് “pre existing disease (Diabetic) മൂലം 48 മാസം waiting period ഉണ്ട് എന്നാണ്”.
ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇന്നേ വരെ cardiac related ആയിട്ട് ഒരു അസുഖവും വരാത്ത father നു എങ്ങനെ ആണ് ഇവർ pre existing disease എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്?
