This is so nuts. Why are we ignoring huge huge huge not just signs but actual information. Know he killed his ex but still date him? Its not just the parole board.vehh did Janet and her family think he was sage to date?

I met the most dippy stupid probation officer a few weeks ago in Brighton. We asked her what made her get into that because no one could believe that was her job based on her ditsy personality.

Guess what her answer was...

She said she didn't even know what a probation officer was. She was just applying for jobs. F***ing hell. We all just sat there open-mouthed. So, that is how these criminals are out

So this is not at all uncommon. Not only in Britain. This is happening all over the United States as well. Overcrowding 🤯

Once a partner admits to killing a previous partner, you bloody get out of that relationship ASAP!
Unfortunately in this case, Simon is too manipulative and doesn't take rejection as a reasonable person would do.

It would be possible to create a p;sychological assessment of controlling behaviours and score prisoners on this scale. This information then supplied to the parole board.

So sad and tragic AND it wouldn't have happened if the system worked efficiently, most criminals don't deserve any leniency.
Here in Australia, the judicial system is also a big joke.

I feel so bad for these women because there is no fairytale romance, love is hard there’s ups and downs. My husband and I are 40 years together. You work hard in relationships but if your not willing to then it’s a failure, my sister has been married 8 times, my brother got married once but they broke up. I’m the only one in my family that is married and very happy. My mom was the same she had married 2 times. Marriage is hard but well worth it.

You get convicted of murder , then you don't deserve to breath fresh air ever again . How on earth any of these so called professional probation officers can live with the guilt of releasing these animals , is beyond me .
Every single time a mistake is made , then the person who signs the rease papers should be made to explain their decision .
I hate to admit it , because it's not in my nature , but if I found out my mum, dad or brother had been killed by an offender , who has been let out on licence for a previous offence , I might very well end up in court myself for removing someone from the gene pool.

I believe that when this happens, the entire system of people who made it possible should also get life in prison as accomplices to murder. They allowed it to happen so they should have to pay with their lives as well. Maybe once that is on the line they won’t be so willy nilly about letting these murderers back into society

We had a guy called Ernest wright released local to us after doing life for killing a man with a hammer and burning his remains . He was released from a life sentence and went on to shoot two men near me and executed one of them in cold blood with a sawn off. The system is fooooked up.

Damn this guy is identical to my ex. I'm lucky I got out. I had to cancel my life ins policy asap and let him know I did to take away his motive. I also moved couple thousand miles away for a year. I'm back as I missed my kids too much. I'm not stupid or reckless but I choose not to live in fear. I have to see him Friday for my daughters graduation. My brother is so amazing helping me get right in my head for it. It's all about my daughter and nobody else 💜

Of course they failed in releasing any of these murderers. Who cares if they did an evaluation or not. Murderers will not want to make a mistake in what they say to be able to be released. They want out to be able to do what they enjoy and that is killing innocent people. Anyone who agrees that they should be released should also be charged with assisting in the murder of any future victims. Maybe if they too are charged with enabling the release of a murderer they would reconsider saying that they are safe to be released.

The people who make the decision to release a convicted murderer who then kills again should be charged with accessory to the murder. The parole officer who fails to return the murderer to prison even after receiving reports of his bad behaviour should also be charged as an accessory to the murder.
If this was done then they would stop releasing these murderers on a hunch that that that they might not reoffend. And all would be safer.
