This is how my kneecaps popped out of place- be careful when attempting any kind of splits if you’ve not trained or stretched enough.
I’d recommend doing it in front of a trainer first go because now my knees are absolute garbage

Enjoy your siatica folks. End range training is how it's done, what this silly child is doing is just the besic method your average PT will show you. This does not work for middle split for a number of reasons.
He is flexible, his method did not produces this. He's just echoing nonsense.
"Hip rotation" it the key. And no not what he does in this video. Hip rotation as in Ballet. If you can't "turnout" you will never middle split.
He hasnt mention turnout a single time. He doesn't know what he's talking about.
