I’m by no means an expert on vegan eating. But when I was cooking for some vegan friends. While researching the bread to use I kept coming across to use sourdough bread. The reason is that no yeast is being used since it is a living organism.

Just made them and they were amazing!! Better than the restaurants for sure

Does it not create its own sugars from the flour, without the addition of granulated? Surely a flat bread has no need of yeast either?
