Using the first method command prompt using as Admin and type on the following line format /FS:FAT32 DRIVE LETTER: It's working very very slow I waited one and a half hour and after it was finish It wasn't formatted as fat32, it was still exFAT.

Cheers dude! I'm in the process of hopefully reinstalling Windows 10 via USB and was getting frustrated with the blue Windows logo and the spinning dots not doing a thing.

I think it was because my USB stick was NTFS. Let's hope this'll work!

Edit: The first 2 options didn't work for me (option 1 said my drive was too big, option 2 didn't seem to understand what I typed, even though I made no errors) but the 3rd option worked SUPERFAST! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Life saver never had to deal with this kind of problem . Old ish flat tv and dvbt's don't recognize exfat at 64gb while the 32's same manufactor same model different capacity has fat32 as default with another absurd fact that the formatting option for 64's has no choice to select for fat32 . Cheers . Thanks for advertising the simple usable formatting tool .

This saved me. Somehow my 64GB USB drive became unreadable or my car got confused. (GM has perennially terrible audio systems.) I tried everything - including formatting from File Explorer which probably made things worse b/c FAT32 wasn't a listed option. Before I found this tutorial, I found another site which suggested using PowerShell with the same command given here. Something must have changed b/c after more than an hour of formatting to get to 100%, it said the drive was too big and quit. This tool took only seconds and I am back in business. Thank you so much. Will definitely make a donation!

3rd method worked for me to get my PS3 to recognize my 128GB flash drive.

None of them works. The first one just "failed" after loading for more than 30 minutes. The second one I get "the arguments specified in this command are not valid", and the third option, the program, simply refuses to open on my pc...

did the first method; was very slow at about 50% 2 hours in and then proceeded to fail
so i did method 3 which took about a minute overall.

LIfe saver for any DJ who uses USB sticks larger than 32GB via Windows & rekordbox (Pioneer CDJs + mixers). Cheers mate!
