Sorry but I must be honest, this task is pretty basic to solve and design, im supprise google actually asking this
ОтветитьIt's crazy that people can just use apps like Coding Interview Champ to solve these LeetCode interview problems during the coding interview
ОтветитьStaged he already prepared that lol
ОтветитьI don't want to sound cocky and all, but this test is not even remotely to the level I expect for a Google interview. It's pretty basic, covering just a few entry level JavaScript concepts like fetch, async/await, and promise.all. Seems like something anyone who's been into JavaScript for a few weeks could handle.
I've built and published pretty complex libraries over the years, and I still don't think I'd have much chance at a big tech company, yet I find this challenge almost laughable.
Given that this test doesn't pose much of a challenge to any frontend developer, it can't what big companies are asking for.
thank you 🤝
ОтветитьI'm definitely not the best front-end webdeveloper, I'd say average to below average, but I could probably handle it
Ответитьcool video)
ОтветитьIn fact, learning the font-end also requires learning the back-end
ОтветитьI guess this is how an experience developer code.
Ответитьrelax your jaw a bit
ОтветитьThanks for this 👍💪
ОтветитьHow come you write Clement with an accent on e, but you write Mihăilescu without the ă?
ОтветитьPlease tell me this is for beginners
Ответитьyou can see why libraries like React/Vue are making life much easier and organized.
ОтветитьI'm a junior react devoloper and I want to ask if they will always ask us about vanilla JavaScript, even though I'm using react they will interview my js like this ?
Ответитьwow just speechless
ОтветитьImpressive!
Ответить@ConnerArdman you said you use a Map but instead you used a simple Object, would be nice to see how the implementation would look like using a Map. Also, using the for...of loop would be faster than the forEach loop.
Ответитьi haven't watch the full video yet. but there are several mistakes, first for fetch function is better put it inside try catch function. second the data you get is json format, so you need to use parse() instead of json(). And he uses const to declare questionsbyCategory, then he push the data into this variable, which we all know const can not be changed once we declare it.
ОтветитьMany many thanks, Really helpful for me!!
ОтветитьHey , as an aspiring front-end developer. Do I have to be a professional in Maths to succeed as a front-end dev? Many thanks
ОтветитьCould somebody explain me why Google asks about DoM? Because nobody uses DoM, all devs use libraries like React/Vue/Angular.
ОтветитьF*** those ads are yours?
ОтветитьJust here to tell i am tired of seeing your add even tho I like your videos, your adds I hate them
ОтветитьI just started learning code, and I would like to know, is all the interviews for software developer is like this? Or there other ways of interview?
ОтветитьI hope that on the real interview you gonna see candidates code. That was strange.
Ответитьdoing all of this with vanilla JS on the spot.. this is why i'm lazy about looking for new jobs
Ответитьwow, I am able to understand the code written in the video but theres no way I could do this within this time frame, would need to do look a bunch of this up to successfully create it. I guess i need to keep practicing javascript and technical questions
ОтветитьGreat stuff! Us "Frontenders" usually don't get the love we deserve 😀
Also, was it specified to use old-school method of creating elements for this task? Because if not he could've just copied the HTML code from the instructions inside template literals and appended to the wrapper using innerHTML += and finished this interview with a lot more spare time.
This would clean up the code a lot and represent modern framework style of working and in my humble opinion make the case for a stronger hire.
Nevertheless I like how he was able to organize his code on the fly and get a successful render on first attempt each time. Promise.all was also a great touch there 👌🏼
I stopped watch in getQuestionsByCategory that receives questions as parameter
Ответитьit's for junior dev?
ОтветитьSo you guys do not practice TDD during interviews at all?
Ответитьwhy did he await response.json()?
ОтветитьThis was a good confirmation of my love for template literals. I'd much rather return template literals in most cases than creating elements with js methods.
Ответитьaw man I appreciate what this guy is doing but this accent is insufferable please go to a speech expert..
ОтветитьAlmost no use of Web APIs
ОтветитьWould the interviewee normally talk through their solution as they build it?
ОтветитьThis way to easy
ОтветитьI thought it'd be harder lol
Ответитьi thought i was good at frontend
Ответитьwow i learned so much after almost one hour video :O I hope theres more like this videos on your channel D:
Ответитьafter 4 years working in the industry i fully understood everything and would have probably coded it the same way, however, my man is very bold not testing functions throughout i would have tested each one checking the data with not as much confidence as him!
Ответитьoh this is gonna be GOOD, just started watching lol
ОтветитьThe moment he realised his platform didn't work properly... ouch
ОтветитьhasOwnProperty checks the entire prototype chain so its not recommended to use it over plain object indexing. So already a mark down for that
Ответитьi have no idea whats going on, is this a real google interview?>
ОтветитьWhy await when returning a promise?😮
ОтветитьIs this interview just for showing the steps of interview? This questions seems entry level.
Ответитьthis "YEEP" kills me
