Madonna is awful and can't sing and just don't know how she got famous. Probably slept her way to the top because she couldn't sing but she could dance only.

When I saw that the Beatle's Ed Sullivan performance was NUMBER TWO, I knew you'd choose some off the wall, random selection, which you did.

Just some FYI trivia...nothing vital. I was at Woodstock, and while it was something I'm glad I was part of, I would have loved to be at the Live Aid concert. It must have been epic; words can't describe it. However, in the interest of accuracy, the attendance number was not 72,000, as repeatedly said. It was over 175,000 easy. Also, the number of ovations at the end of Beethoven's 9th was discovered in a journal of one of the attendees. That person made a note that the ovations numbered 7. He wrote about the importance of such recognition. The King never got more than 3 when entering a concert hall. It was presumed to be an insult to the King if someone else got more, for whatever reason. All great times in music, but we all know there are many more.

Maybe it's just me but it's seems like music lost it's soul after the 90s there's still a few bands left but we don't have performances like live aid Woodstock many concerts during the 90s I keep going for days nowadays it's just somebody singing to a tune

I like Mojo, but I'm so interested in these clips and photos they put together I want to see a label for each one that lasts for the whole duration of the item's screentime. That would also be beneficial for when I'm bouncing between apps and have this in a video popup.

The airing of the Run DMC Aerosmith collaboration “Walk This Way” on MTV. Not only did it bring rap music to a mainstream audience it revived Aerosmith. To that point, they had two top 10 hits, after Aerosmith had a dozen. That also spurred other “returns” of classic acts. George Harrison, Elton John and the Rolling Stones had been pretty quiet in the 80s.A few years later, hell froze over and the Eagles reunited. Fleetwood Mac. And on and on.

All because we “Walk This Way”.

I think nirvana should not be on this list a think it should be Ray Charles he said he would not play for a white only crowd and actually got banned for years but his home state the when the next president came his not allowed to perform in that state was reversed and Georgia on my mind became the state song his first concert back was a lot more remembered then anything nirvana ever did

Really? That utter BS about Beethoven being completely deaf at the premiere of the 9th is your no.1? Okay, yeah, super important piece of music, and probably deserves being in this list for a number of reasons, but for the last fu@%ing time - HE WASN'T DEAF WHEN THIS PREMIERED. His hearing was going, sure, but he didn't actually go completely deaf for another two years. I don't know why this myth persists.
