does anyone know who to change timing on msi motherboard it says auto and won't let me change it all videos show [auto] where i get auto without square brackets
ОтветитьThank you very much for this information. It all works great with my 2x48GB 6000MHzC32 kit :-)
ОтветитьHuge 13% more CPU frames. I followed everything, but I already had the 3 primary timings. Thank you.
ОтветитьI have these as 32x2 dual rank team group tcreate 6000 @ 1.1v. Which timings should I loosen first since I have stability issue?
Ответитьi have gskill flare 6000 32-38-38-134 sticks, managed to get 6000 30-36-36-28, question is how to get cl 28 or other improvement? when i tried 6200 mhz north bridge dropped to 967 mhz fclk was 2000. Then i tried cl28 6000 with vdd 1.35v up to 1,45v but always caught blue screen while OCCT test run. Can anyone help with this, i saw reviews where cl28 was not even a problem since it's m die Hunix MOBO x670 gigabyte f9c bios ryzen 7600x
ОтветитьHave any of these recommended settings changed with the new AGESA? Curious to know how it has affected them and would love to see a new update video on it.
ОтветитьI used to be able to run this OC no problem, went to default speeds when the whole soc voltage thing happened, and now when I try to use this oc again, it doesnt work. I just constantly blue screen, or blue screen after opening a couple browsers or steam/battlenet. any advice? 7950x3d, asus x670e rog strix, 4x 16gb ddr5 6400mhz, which i tried to run at 6000
Ответитьwhy is my ram getting very low read and copy speed about 59MB/s on aida64 memtest? but writte speed is fine around 76MB/s, is that normal?
my specs:
Ryzen 5 7600
asrock b650m HDV
Ram Teamgroup Hynix 5600 38-40-40-82 1.25v 1:1 FCLK 2ghz
2033 and 6000 are co-prime numbers. Their GCD is 1. This is why they perform best. 2133 and 6200 are also co-prime numbers so if you use 6200, you should be performing best with 2133.
ОтветитьAre these still relevant in the context of the recent AGESA update?
ОтветитьSo this would be a good baseline for ryzen 7800x3d with hynix 6000 ram on an aorus elite? How can i learn more about stress testing and is there any risk of damaging components with the process of overclocking ram? Noob here
Ответитьyour june ddr5 buying guide had the team group CTCCD564G6000HC48DC01. this is a dual rank kit is it going to work out for me on the same board? How about the primaries? Attempting to escape my samsung ram.
ОтветитьTried this with : a Ryzen 9 7900x, a 2x16 Gb Kingston Fury Beast kit at 6000 Mt/s CL38, an Asus ROG Strix B650-A Wi-Fi motherboard.
For many months now I've had no issues at all. I've used these settings before the CPU voltage alerts, with 3 bios upgrades, with and without DOCP enabled and I even mixed up some timings without realizing lol.
Just dropped in to say this works exactly as you describe it in the video. After stress testing and several hours of gaming, I have yet to have a lockup. Thank you!
ОтветитьCan you run 4 sticks of ram at 6000?
Ответитьone great guy and how many people can improve perfomance for free ty so much
ОтветитьI have an as rock board.. is gear down the same as power down?
ОтветитьSo oddly enough, at least in aida, i get zero gains from any of this other than trefi and trfc lol. Exactly the same read and latency with just trfc/2/4 and trefi as i get with all other settings as well. Very odd. My kingston m-die has always underperformed on every platform tho. Ive never gotten it below 60ns on any platform stable. Also fclk to 2033 from 2000 makes about 1000mb/s more read but hurts latency by 1-1.5ns 🤔
ОтветитьIf these bsod in os with these settings try not disabling power down mode. Causes instant bsod on sign in screen in windows for me and a lot of other have the same issue.
ОтветитьI can confirm these work on the gskill 5600 cl28 flares
ОтветитьCould anyone tell me if these timings would work on gskill flares 5600mhz cl28?
ОтветитьI’m getting better cinebench results with fclk set to 2000
ОтветитьDisabling Power Down with Memory Context Restore on or auto causes BSODs
ОтветитьI see 0 difference between 2000 and 2033 FCLK with latest BIOS on MSI X670E Carbon with 7800X3D running AIDA64 latency test. I suppose they fixed the issue with latest AGESA. Now on to try and tune other timings to improve latency.
ОтветитьAmazing improvements with these settings! I'm running memory tests now.
ОтветитьDhit another buildzoid drop!!!! These videos hit the B hole.
ОтветитьBios date/Time ^.^ My system will crashes if my time is not sync correctly.
ОтветитьCan we get an update on these voltages & timings? Can’t even post with them anymore.
Edit: I upped my voltage to 1.4 on memory & turned power down enable to auto. Seemed to help.
For some reason these timings are not working on my system, worked for a while but then started getting blue screens. I'm on a B650 Aorus Elite AX, Ryzen 7700x and Fury 6000Mhz CL38, not sure if I'm missing something, but for now I will keep the EXPO1 setting for stability.
ОтветитьI do it with parameters in this video and adjust voltage dram vdd + vddq to 1.4; soc + vddio to 1.3. My ram gskil F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5RK
ОтветитьI wish Buildzoid would make a small PSA about power down mode. Memory context restore MUST be disabled if you disable power down mode, or you will bluescreen. You will bluescreen so bad that's if you manage to get into windows, wonder why, and think it's these memory timings. No, it's power down mode. Go ahead and disable power down mode, but ALSO DISABLE MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE. MCR on auto, or enabled along with power down mode disabled will cause massive issues. You sacrifice slightly faster boot times, in exchange for ditching power down mode which slightly harms memory latency performance. Please like this post get it to the top, save folks a lot of headache.
Ответитьis FCLK 2033 still the best setting?
ОтветитьCopied these exact settings for a cheap Team Group 5600 CL32 kit and it works perfectly. I was even able to get it to run at 6000 without changing any of the primary timings.
Ответить@actuallyhardcoreoverclocking Hi, does this timings work on a dual rank 2x32gb Gskill with SK Hynix Chips?
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks for doing all this research and testing for us. It's extraordinarily helpful
ОтветитьI have a weird problem.
Using F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR with 7900x on an asus b650-a gaming.
It has hynix memory but if i put your values in it doesn't even post.
If i enable expo it loads into windows but is unstable and fails memtest.
If i check one module at a time it works great.
What should I do and what could be the issue.
Thx in advance 😊
Wait, is not Asus that bullshit company that screw the customers and Jay'stwocents broke the relationship with them?
ОтветитьThe content is incredible. Thank you for the video, that is exactly what I was looking for
ОтветитьI can’t set tRas any lower than 30.
ОтветитьHi, I have got a memory management error after setting your timings and voltage, I checked everything a few times.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. My system is so much faster and more stable!
ОтветитьHow do I dial in the primary timings on a kit without XMP/EXPO?
Ответитьis it still stable for your guys after that lowered soc voltage ? because this video was made with soc voltage at 1.35Ov which is way too high. so since now we're at 1.240 soc voltage, is it still stable ?????
ОтветитьCould you make a guide for Samsung memory? Pretty please? :))
ОтветитьThanks! This worked great on my 7800x3d and G.Skill memory! I bought the 6400 2x32 kit but only clocked it to 6000 and didn't have to change a single setting from your recommendations (obviously except for my primary timings) Thanks for the help! Super stable overclock!
ОтветитьKingston 6000 C36 64gb working nicely with these settings. Thanks very much!
ОтветитьSo if I follow this guide I don’t care if the memory is smoke or expo since I won’t use it anyway? I’m planning to get the G.Skill Trident Z5 2x32 6000 CL30 kit with the MSI X670 Carbon Wi-Fi and 7800x3D. Can I get the XMP kit? Since the EXPO kit is constantly out of stock.
ОтветитьLatest Beta Bios from MSI finally makes XMP and EXPO stable now with the white or black Kingston FURY Beast 64GB 6000MTs , I have the white, nice and stable and superfast out of the box only clicking on profile XMP.. Very happy with this board and MSI quality and support.
ОтветитьIf you have a Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX this guide WILL NOT WORK as it has completely different options than what he's got
ОтветитьFrom 69ms to 56ms with 6000mhz cas 30. Thanks a lot
