there are hidden modes is you find the correct button combination before any match in arcade mode
like acid rain, back to 1993 mode, etc.

For reference, on all MK mugen Mods, for stage fatals, holding Down on the pad makes the relevant sounds/actions happen, like you did on the kombat Tomb stage, Deadpool stage will do the "oh wa" noise, Shao Kahn will laugh at Hara-kiri's and also if you lose against the AI they will more likely do fatals on you if you hold down.

MK 2 Remix is indeed a flawless fan made mod ever. They did an incredible job recreating and remastering the stages in MK2, and make some creative fatalities of every character. This is indeed the best new year ever to enjoy.

To Matt: You can actually access Dummy settings in Training mode by pressing the Pause Break button on your keyboard. That way it presents a whole list of options where you can force the opponent to block every time, hold or spam a specific button or test out different levels of AI from 1 through 8.

I'm definitely pro-original announcer. There's a reason that Reptile fight in the 1995 movie is hype from the start: "RRRREPTILE"

I downloaded the game and I gotta say, the game is, as Shao khan would say "outstanding". Noob saibot, considering he was the first sub-zero, actually had an easy to remember fatality... and it's forward, down, forward, high punch... you have to do certain ones in rapid succession to pull them off, but when you do get 'em down, they look so dang GOOD.

Wish this could be down sized to play for mame4droid arcade because this is tight.

Can you disable combos, running etc? For a more authentic mk2 experience?

The stages from Shang Tsung's island don't make any sense since the game takes place in Outworld 100% of the time. Trilogy doesn't have a 'canon' aspect to it per se, so they can get away with classic versions of fighters and levels from different games. However, on the contrary, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is canon for sure.
