Have been using Cloudflare DNS for many years and it's working like a charm. However, I have added a DNS server on my LAN. This works by configuring the main router to route DNS request to my LAN DNS server (Technitium in my case). The LAN DNS server caches requests, so it does not need to lookup requests to the same domain name. Other requests are forwarded to Cloudflare DNS servers. An added benefit is that I can configure a LAN zone as well. For example, nas2.home returns the IP address of my nas2 server. This is also very handy for smart TVs that can render media content. No need to remember LAN IP addresses anymore.

on cloudflare, the same connectivity table/DNS/Router settings does not show, what to do? which link did you click on to get it exactly?

For me setting Auto makes the internet better and less ping maybe because I use the internet from my phone connected to my computer via USB cable.🥲

So not 1 setting. More like go here go there change this change that blah blah blah. One setting means 1 setting. Open settings pick the 1 you need to change, change it, roll credits

This makes my internet even more slower than the google public DNS one. Since I have tried the DNS address on both my low-end laptop and my high-end laptop they both flopped.

ARGH! 200mbps + I really hate internet in Australia! We are still getting speeds like 20-30 mbps on our useless NBN and the fastest I have seen so far on 5G is about 145 mbps. What do they charge over there for that sort of speed?

Why the vast difference between your upload and download speeds.? I get only 100 download but 30 upload.
