Does not work. The moment I apply and it runs, the app software disappears. Now my partitioning looks wrong wrong and it says its now Basic GPT and NOT MBR as the convertor said it would be.

I convert mbr to gpt by aiomei but it failed after 50% now windows not working

This command will result in DATA LOSS! - DONT USE IT

using the "clean" command in Diskpart will remove all partitions and data on the selected disk. So if you run the commands "select disk 1" and "clean" on Disk 1, it will wipe out all the data on that disk.

Similarly, the "convert mbr" command will convert the selected disk to the Master Boot Record (MBR) partition style. This process involves initializing the disk and converting the partition style, which will also result in data loss.

Hey,I just changed from legacy to uefi bios and could not reboot my pc. I tried even formatting but in vain. I only see the writing on screen that this disk can't be formatted because it has Gpt partition. After following those cmd steps, I managed to format my pc. Thank you

inmy case i have to recover files form the gpt disk (ps4 disk) and if i convert maybe ps4 won´t recognize it when i insert it again, can i recover my files and then get gpt protection again???

Hello, I'm seeking for help.
I've got issue with my external hdd.
It was only for file back up.
After some period of time tried to add more family pics to it, and the issue started...
On Disk management I see that external hdd, but unable to open it. Healthy(GTP Protective Partition).

I've tried to recover files with another software, used 2 different programs and all I get is couple .png pictures and most of stuff is locked in .SWF files....
Tried to open them, unable to do that...

Also found this program. BUT agaaain... I facing another issue...
"Convert to MBR disk."
leads me to:
"The partition layout of current disk cannot meet the requirement for conversion, please refer to FAQ for more help."

I really do need help with this. A lot of important data in that disk. Must to recover as much as possible..

what is the difference between data disk and system disk?
i have my old laptop's internal hard disk (the data D one) and i want to use it for external but it says the GPT thing.
so is this hard disk a data disk or system disk?
and also am i gonna lose my data if i convert it?
