Great review and hope that the game gets a reboot/sequel with simpler controls, better graphics and more streamlined gameplay👍

I miss black and white. I remember playing and having my tiger monster go in and seeing "I am evil but I think my god is good." I laughed so hard at that and stopped to think about the time i tried to punish my tiger for eating a villager and accidently rewarded him.

The opening of this game gives me as much chills as a Doom opening for some reason

I was so excited to play this game when I was a kid and it froze on me so often making it basically unplayable in the second map

I came across this video hearing it from a group of game devs we just spoke to -- in 2023, when we discuss AI and gaming. This game is so wild and mind-blowing that shocked me what people came up with more then 20 years ago.

I remember playing this game thinking this is the peak of visual effects in video games lol

I bought this game back then. Dont remember doing much more than abusing the animals.

I bought this game as a kid and had a blast even though I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing

This was the first computer game I played as an adult with my own pc and money. I was 19.

I remember how excited I was to get this game. What a letdown though.

All I remember from playing this when i was a kid was the slapping the cow around her the hand

I loved this game. I had the tortoise creature, that was evil. I also had the leopard, rhino and chimp. The chimp was the smartest. I would constantly switch the characters around with the help of a mod. It was soo fun. I taught the chimp the mega blast spell. He would randomly go around town and blast people for no reason.

Installed in Linux using Lutris and Lutris installed all DLC, patches, etc automagically. And it runs in 4K quite easily, even though I didn't get to the fire balls rain yet 🤣 So, at least in Linux it is quite easy to run nowadays. And it runs quite well.

I never bothered playing the game the way I was supposed to and instead spent all my time tossing the villagers around, dropping them off the sides of mountains, watching them tumble to their demise and also slap the scrap out of my animal... It never got old 😆

Gah, that yellow Best Buy sticker takes me straight back to wandering the PC game aisle hoping to find a new gem to dive into. Simpler times.
