Everyone has different rules about how they choose to date. In my opinion l, there is nothing with you having sex on the first of the third date. You making them “work for it,” probably won’t be the case if you two get married or end up having a long term relationship. I don’t really think you should put so much value on sex to the point where you start questioning and saying omg!!! We had sex too soon that’s why it didn’t work. What does you having sex with someone have to do with whether or not you stay in a relationship. There are literally people who’ve waited months before connecting sexually with their partners…. And the relationship didn’t work. Sex is in amazing way to connect with someone and if you are comfortable and want to go for it. It is a false premise to believe that if have sex with this person on the first date, then we have doomed ourselves of not being together long term. I’m seeing people call the other a guy narcissist? Many women DON'T have the confidence to NOT have sex so soon. A woman respecting her own need to get to know someone for as long as she needs is what confidence is.

However, a 13 yo might not be educated or able to control emotions or make the most logical decisions for her or himself.
