I think if they had given regular Stratos the blue jet pack and red wings, it would have made mini comics Stratos a bit different, and you would have had both variants with the accessories.

I don't blame naked Stratos for the fall. It's all these crazy Snake men variants, instead of great figures like, Two-Bad, Syklone, Modulok. I would have liked more She-Ra figs too.

Epic. I failed to collect them all. I started out very strong then as the late stage Walmart and MC exclusives rolled out; I was unable to score. Very disappointing. Still love this line. Just makes me a little ill when I see the collection holes.

Red Hoarde Trooper problem is easily solved by making him a general or high ranking officer. That eliminates the need for having more than one unless you get really carried away with building huge armies like some of those amazing trooper armies in Star Wars circles.

Weird. That 2nd SunnMan 3pk is available in ample quantities at every Target Ive been to. We have 8 of them. Pig Man is on pegs right now at a few places.

Origins isnt dead at retail. Filmation is still Origins. Were still getting the rest of the original line in Origins and Eternia and the Snake Men lair are coming along with Bashosaurus vehicle and the Powers of Grayskull characters. Lots of life left in the line.

I just realzed I have two naked Stratos. The other is the Reaction version. I think there are 3 or 4 versions in that line.

The mini comics figs arent for non-fans. Only fans are buying this line to begin with.

I never see MOTU origins on pegs anyways sadly. The wave with jitsu is so dusty from sitting on the peg at my local Walmart so long it’s not funny. All the new MOTU figs I’ve gotten have been from discount stores. I found a snake face and snake armor skeletor yesterday at Ross with unpunched cards, so that just shows it never actually ended up at any store. I really don’t order stuff online, so I don’t really want them to go online from now on. I’d rather them just fix distribution to physical stores.

Great ranking video about the figures you dont have is missing two the skeletor art of engineering and the 35th anniversary she-ra. 113 owned + 15 missing (2019 - 2023) origins total only figures = 128

Thanks for this list man, and for the heavy emphasis on MOTU on this channel in general, and a massive congratulations on having a baby on the way! I find myself in the same position and with a similar sized collection and an incoming Eternia, I was starting to look at my figures with regret. I have been considering selling off my Masters figures to make space, but this video has reignited my passion and truly made me feel grateful for what I have. Just think of all the fun we can have, playing with our kids with this stuff for years to come! 😁

Yes. Makes sense that he'd be at the top. One of those figures that showed what Origins could have been. It's interesting because even next to his own faction, he could pass for something from a different line; like the same IP in a separate iteration. It's beyond where he made his first appearance. Color Pallette goes a long way - it was a good call to not overly brighten him up for an Origins translation.

Cheers to Origins 🍻. I've had many criticisms but overall it's been been fun. Can't say I really have much of a Ranking Order. But if there is a "Top Spot", it goes to the Modularity. I've had a blast messing around with mods. Not only MOTU Origins with MOTU Origins, but MOTWWEU, ROS, MOTU Classics, Vintage MOTU, Galaxy Warriors, Combo, Masterverse and so on. As connected as I am to MOTU(a bad iteration could not "kill the brand" for me or "ruin my childhood"😂), in the end this is all Extra. I'm glad it happened.

I guess all the Americans are sick of seeing naked Stratos hanging on the pegs in the stores. He was fairly rare in the UK, and I think he looks a lot better than regular grey Stratos, would have easily been in my Top 50 😂

All of the time & money Mattel is wasting on the Cartoon Collection & Turtles Of Lameskull could have finished up the Vintage Collection including ALL of the Princess Of Power cast. I don't know about you but I'm extremely pissed off over the whole situation.

And think back to all the time they wasted on Rulers Of the Sun. 10 figures that could have been Vintage MOTU characters. Rulers Of The Sun should have been the Mattel Creations exclusives.

They gave us all this SHIT like Digitino & naked Stratos but we still don't have Two-Bad or Sy-Klone. And when the fuck is Mattel Creations going to start selling the figures they revealed at SDCC (Rokkon, Sy-Klone, Extendar & Night Stalker)??? I checked their January release schedule & there ain't nothin for MOTU. It's all Barbie & Hot Wheels garbage.

And can somebody please explain to me why Mattel Creations is constantly SOLD OUT? Doesn't Mattel own that site? Why can't they at the very least keep that 1 website fully stocked??? That should be our go-to site for MOTU. But they never have any of the good shit IN STOCK. And figures like Kol-Darr, Camo Khan, Fang-Or & Lady Slither are "EXCLUSIVE". That is not the same as "LIMITED EDITION". Exclusive means they are only sold on that site and when you sell out YOU CAN MAKE MORE! They don't need to be a limited 1-off like a convention exclusive. "Exclusive" means that they are only sold on Mattel Creations. All those figures sold out within an hour and there is no reason why they simply can't produce more. I don't understand this thing in the toy industry where "EXCLUSIVE" and "LIMITED" mean the same exact thing. They are 2 completely different words for a reason. Just like "MAN" and "WOMAN" are not the same thing. If your shit sells out within 30 minutes that means you didn't make enough. JUST MAKE MORE GODDAMIT! Why is that so fuckin difficult? Don't you want to make money? What the hell is your problem Mattel? Seriously! WHAT THE FUCK??? All you ever fuckin do is keep the scalpers in business while fucking over all the actual MOTU fans. That's a very stupid business strategy & you are losing millions of dollars every year. All the profit the scalpers are raking in could be yours. STUPID-ASS MATTEL!

Naked Stratos is the worst for me. My #1 would be skeketor with the red jewel eyes and cape.

The true genius of the Snake Men Infiltrator is that it is actually the proper colorway of vintage Man-At-Arms. I swapped no mustache MAA head and MAA Armor onto that Snake Man Infiltrator and, boom, it is classic 1982 Man-At-Arms!

Love this line. As frustrating as it is to collect now a days, still my favourite line to collect. Hope to see Mattel do a deeper dive into the 200X figures and let’s hope they fix the distribution and have less Wallmart exclusives which are near impossible to get in Canada.
