I've lost 55 lbs lately and my stomach was shaped and firm like a basketball. Now it really soft but still big, I just suppose it takes time. 73 years old and getting better!
ОтветитьUgh… I am losing fat and recomping but my bio impedance scale says no change in visceral fat. I can tell it’s stubborn because normally I have a small waist but gain fat in my lower body so it is unusual for fat to stick around my waist. I don’t know what to do I lift weights 6x a week, eat high protein, do HIIT, make sure I get at least 10k steps everyday but usually more, and I make sleep such a priority that we don’t even use lights at night but battery operated candles so I don’t disrupt melatonin levels. I take supplements for thyroid, supplements for glucose levels and supplements for cortisol levels. If there is anything I haven’t done please let me know! I do like the changes I am seeing in my arms and legs and I can tell overall my energy is great and I feel younger so at least I have that!

My question is How do I accumulate fat again and which one gets filled up first? the subcotinous or the visceral? Can I keep extra subcotinous fat for insulation and shock proofing but very little visceral fat (to avoid inflamation?)

I have a question for you doctor, i spoke with a fitness company Newday is the name. They said they use a machine that creates vibration in my belly that breaks the semisolid fat and then it's rejected through urine. Is this real or a scam? Thx .

ОтветитьWhat about us guys whom have excess visceral fat but are fairly muscular elsewhere from years of weight lifting, we don't want to lose the muscle size we've worked for by dieting to lose the fat. Sounds like we can't have both.

ОтветитьDown 37lbs from 260lbs to 223lbs in 2 months. Month 1 OMAD diet with increased exercise and 1.5 gallons of water a day. Month 2 OMAD diet one week on and one week off routine, holding at 223lbs. Mind you I am 6'7" too. I have noticed that my belly is shrinking, but slowly. Not giving up!
Edit: Drinking mainly water, but switched from regular milk to almond milk. Still on calorie deficit.

I went from 150lbs to 120lbs by intermittent fasting, water fasting, and strength training along with cardio 5x a week. I eat a pretty clean diet. I am happy to be losing weight, but my stomach is still as big as ever and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. 😕

ОтветитьMy husband is shaped, athletic shape, hit the gym 4-5x/week, he barely consume sweet/oily food, not drinking sweet beverages and alcohol or maybe just once a month, eats lot of protein instead of simple carbs. Got abs muscle not really toned but when he flex it looks good, He looks kinda like this guy on the video but bigger on chest an shoulder. But according to my smart scale he have high visceral fats. How come?

ОтветитьFrom the comments, its amazing how much people are focused on Carbs and Sugar. We need to let that go. Sure, we should avoid simple sugars, like cake icing, candy bars, donuts, etc., but our body needs carbohydrates. Carbs are the main energy source. There is nothing wrong with complex carbs from vegetables and grains.
