Hi, I bought a used New Home 1502 sewing machine and it works fine for a thick layer of fabric. But when the fabric is thin or stretchy, it doesn't sew properly. I'm new and I can't find the manual for the machine. Can you please help me? Thanks.
ОтветитьHow do you determine when to reinforce by going back and forth versus not?
ОтветитьExcellent presentation! I learned so much what I was looking for . Thankyou
ОтветитьThank you so much! I could finally figure out why my sewing didn't go so smoothly. You have helped me a lot! God bless you!
ОтветитьHow do you correct where your stitch is lined up as you go? I’m learning to stitch more straight (haven’t attempted curves yet) and sometimes move from where I intend to stitch way over to the left. So far I’ve only been able to correct it by lifting the lever and the needle out and moving where the fabric is sitting but there must be something else I can do.. I’ve tried putting pressure on the fabric to push it closer to the gauge line but it doesn’t move over… 😢
ОтветитьThat was a great explanation of tension I've ever heard. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you very much.
ОтветитьAre you still making sewing videos? You explain things so well. Hope all is well.
ОтветитьI'm a man learning to sew. Thank god for you. You're an angel from heaven. 😊
ОтветитьI wanted to give my thanks for your videos on how to sew. I have learned so much from you and you state everything so clearly. Everything is quite easy to understand the way you explain it and you tell us the context and the why's. I am grateful <3
ОтветитьYou are a godsend
ОтветитьWatching years and years after. Your videos are just soo helpful and detailed. Thank you Ma❤️❤️
ОтветитьVery good and l have learned something keep it up please.
ОтветитьThis was so informative. I spent like 1hr on this video, following along and experimenting with my own machine and it was really fun. Can't wait for day 4 :) tysm
ОтветитьI'm a new subscriber and I really appreciate your content. You do a very nice job of laying this out. I have some feedback on audio though, the left and right channels sometimes have some delay that makes it harder for me to understand. Some kind of stereo echo I think would be a good way to describe. Anyhow, really enjoying the series. Thank you again.
ОтветитьThank u for this lessons. I love sewing but could not afford one. After years I did manage to get 1 and ur lessons helps a lot. Thank you.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial
ОтветитьEnjoying your video’s your a very good teacher! Just came across your channel and have Subscribed! Thank you very much for Sharing…x
ОтветитьThank you!! Your tutorials are very clear and concise. I knew a number of things you went over, but learned many things I had no idea about. Can't wait to see what else you plan to teach!
ОтветитьThese videos are a godsend! They are so helpful both to complete beginners and those who've been away from sewing for quite some time! Thank you! You are encouraging new generations of sewing enthusiasts!
ОтветитьI can't believe how great these videos are. I'm a dedicated NON-sew-er, but will give it a go ever decade just to check. God bless my mom for trying, and those home-ec teachers for continuing their careers, but this is truly the best instruction I've ever seen. Maybe 65 is my lucky year!
ОтветитьI'm learning so much from your videos. Each one is clearly presented and very detailed. I thank you for taking the time to release these videos, and I have shared them with my friends who are learning as well. :)
ОтветитьHello this helped me a lot. Please what do I do when my machine is on but says error and the Motor won’t run and it’s not sewing
ОтветитьThank you. I just reduced the length of the slit of my skirt with a sewing machine. 🔥🔥But how do I bind the threads after cutting them off to make sure the stich does not get undone?
ОтветитьThat information about the stitch width and needle position to get the right seam allowance was brilliant. My objective to watching your videos has been to learn to become a less messy sewist ('sewer', doesn't look quite right) and produce better finished results. Your course is absolute gold. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьYou are more than great
Thank you
Your videos are answering questions I didn't even know I had.
ОтветитьThis is just what I needed to help me relearn basics and overcome some challenges that I’ve been struggling with. Thank you so much for doing these video’s.
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful and very detailed tutorial sewing courses I've ever watch. I already watch the previous tutorial video though, and I do really learning by watching your tutorial video.
Thank you for this Made To Sew, more power to your channel.😊👍
I commented several years ago when I first encountered your wonderful course. I learned to sew chiefly with your video course as a first -time learner in her sixties. That was three and a half years ago. Now I am wearing garments I have made to work every day. As I live in Japan and have access to inexpensive used kimonos, I have shifted largely from new fabrics to recycled silks and wools, and I have made dozens of garments, not to mention various bags and other items, for my family and friends. This is not only useful but a very engrossing and satisfying hobby. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьLoving these!!!! Just googled for best sewing classes and these classes came up as the most clear and detailed classes. Thanks so much for these!🙏
ОтветитьLooking to make my girlfriend a dress she's always wanted for a Christmas gift even if I've never learned how to sew. Hand stitching and embroidery, sure, but *sewing*?
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I won't ever know unless I start somewhere, so thank you for being the first steps to help me light up her world for when I give it to her.
Thank you, Ma'am
You are really providing top quality education. That's too for free to the world. People likes you are so rear, Ma'am.
I am so appreciative of your tutorials. I’ve had a sewing machine for about a year that I have been looking at dubiously. I’ve only just started trying to use it and was making the mistake of trying to sew off the edge of the fabric for both beginning and ending which was causing some issues. Again thank you so much for making this so clear and less intimidating.
ОтветитьThe fabric does not move when the needle is horizontal esp. if the fabric is silky.
ОтветитьThank you for these amazing tutorials.
ОтветитьIf you place the pins horizontally and not vertically it keeps the fabric together nicely and the fabric does not move as you sew. The pins then are pulled from the right side.
ОтветитьSo helpful and clear.
ОтветитьThought this would be more complicated hmm 🤔
ОтветитьThis was so helpful, thank you!
ОтветитьAlmost 2022, i discovered today this channel. These tutorials are so professional and informative. I am testing myself on sewing art as an hobby and why not to develop it further by time. Thank you for these amazing videos, giving to everyone the chance to learn for free.
Respectfully.
You are a wonderful teacher, so detailed so informative, I’m really grateful for these tutorials as I really do feel so encouraged by them to actually start sewing without fear ❤️
ОтветитьThank you for such an easy to understand clear beginners tutorial. Love your natural teaching style. I’ve had a sewing machine for years but have never really understood how to use it properly. So I’m starting now with your tutorials. No more wonky hems for me : )
ОтветитьAgain, excellent vídeos 👏 many thanks !!
ОтветитьI'm always scared the needle will puncture my fingers...
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Outstanding teaching
