what shortcut did you use to view the tracks? when I change it on the side, it doesn't open the tracks that are on live

Great video👌. One can also export stems for the individual audio tracks.

For the sounds you’d wanna play live eg Piano, Synth etc. I’m guessing you use plugins through the midi tracks?

I cant seem to find anywhere talking about how to have your performance sound mixed and mastered. Basically how to make the performance sound balance and high quality as if mastered so that youre getting the best sound out of the club speakers

I’m struggling to understand! What I’m trying to do is just play the instrumentals through the PA system of course but I would like to sing the vocals with an auto tune program. Could I just have the instrumental as a mp3 file. Bring it into Ableton and then setup my auto tune in ableton?

Instead of resampling you could solo tracks and export them as wav files then import them in a new live set. This is just how to do a a simple task te hard way

Great video! Thanks. I want to perform live with Ableton but I need to do something very simple, however I don't know how to start. I want a piano in channel 1, a pad in channel 2, strings channel 3. And then I want to play piano adding pads or strings by simpky sliding the faders in my controller. Can I do that in Ableton?

I learnt some nifty things here. Good video overall, Autumn.
I ran through this a couple times, but in each case when importing the recorded tracks and renaming the master play button, the audio ends up sounding time stretched with sporadic artifacts, as if it can't conform to the tempo properly. Not dissimilar to importing an audio track into arrangement view, prior to unwarping it.
So that kinda makes it, not doable for me.
Don't know if I'm missing something obvious?

the one thing that bothers me is the 8 channels and having to shift pages cos I can never get the timing right and ughhhhhhhh drives me crazy.

Hey instead of recording by playing out the entire song, you can freeze and flatten the track. "freezing it" creates an mp3 version of the track. "flatten" exports it into an audio track. you can unfreeze it when you're finished. Hope that works for you. You'll save a ton of time!

This isn’t really about your video but I was wondering if you know why I can arm two midi columns without holding shift?? I can’t find anything about it online, thanks
