I am an attorney and I am 1 day into my free 7 day trial. So far, so good. Yes, the price is not insubstantial, but missing deadlines costs more. I am pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD- which makes keeping track of tasks really really difficult. I set up my agenda and was able to get more done in my first day than I usually do.
ОтветитьDid you even try it? How can you review the app without trying it
ОтветитьThanks for the information. The tool looks nice and practical but the price point is way too high for me and my use
ОтветитьThis helped me confirm Salesforce is still superior for me.
Ответитьpricing prohibitive for me :(
ОтветитьSeems interesting enough, but as others have said the price is way too high. IF it is really as good as they claim to be. The seven-day free trial would be possible without putting in your credit card information first. If they are so confident that the product is good they wouldn't need you to have a payment upfront and use the cheap "gym membership scheme" to get their sales.
but good video, thanks for the presentation of this site.
For the people complaining about the price, if a tool is practical it will surely be expensive, because it’s either this or you hire an assistant to manage your calendar, and I think that 19$/month or even the $40/month plan if you pay monthly it’s cheaper. I am still thinking of giving it a try, but I use other solutions and it falls on the same price range tbh
ОтветитьLike others, I have been bombarded with Motion ads, but I am about to sign up despite the price. There’s more functionality and options, and I am indeed time-poor. When you’re contemplating hiring an assistant, $19-34 per month is cost-effective. I don’t see this being the app for students. Students have more time to manually adjust their schedules. It’s busy professionals, bi-vocational folks, and others who will really depend more on the AI capabilities, saving 10 minutes by not having to reorganize the day on the fly.
ОтветитьI don’t know if I have something but I have weeks or months where I just can’t function and in these phases payments get missed -_-, and appointments forgotten, the results life insurance cancelled, car insurance has been increased due to missed payments, and missed an apartment viewing, so I will keep you all updated if it works, screw cost I want peace of mind!
ОтветитьSchhedule…bless you
ОтветитьBullshit
ОтветитьHow can you complain about the monthly subscription price of a productivity app when your Netflix subscription costs more?
ОтветитьA 7 day trial is nothing. They should move to at minimum, a 14 day trial to give you a chance to determine if week over week is functioning well.
ОтветитьYour commercial is really fucking annoying.
ОтветитьSo it’s a daily planner. Great. “AI” LOL
ОтветитьBilled annually is just not accessible. Nearly went for it but that’s such a huge commitment
ОтветитьIt’s $32USD which converts to $53AUD per month. I’m two months into it, super effective and super useful, but expensive. Not sure if I’m going to keep it due to the price, however I’ll see how I’ll cope without it using an app like FlowSavvy which is much cheaper like $7AUD per month. I’m just shocked how expensive this is. It’s just too expensive. Smart company putting this together, but they need to be more competitive with pricing.
ОтветитьMy spreadhseet build functions better and with more options. Can customize it at will.
ОтветитьNice tool but the price is too damn high for individuals! 7 days is also not enough to assess it and you want to lock me in for a full year! I'll come back in a year or so when you have learned your lessons by losing enough revenue that you switch to a more user centred approach.
This is also not going to work for people transitioning from self employed or unemployed to a company where they are tied into that company systems and software paying upfront for a year is madness at those prices in USD.
Nice review. I'll check this out. Prioritizing tasks is definitely on my list of things that I'm the worst at.
ОтветитьHere's a better, free way to approach what it does: LEARN TO ORGANIZE YOURSELF BETTER. How much of an imbecile do you need to be to not know how to organize your day? Pathetic.
ОтветитьIf the price tag is too high for you, it's ok. you're just not the audience they are targetting. you can definitely do all of this manually with free apps or by hand.
Ответитьseems cool but don’t wanna pay for it so maybe I can have chatgpt design me a similar app
ОтветитьAbsolutely love all the features and would love to buy it, but the price is just ridiculous!
Ответитьwhy don't they bill you per month like 25 per month? i think it is acceptable compared to 19 per month for the hole year.
ОтветитьCan it read my emails, word, PDF docs, Blackboard or Canvas (for students), etc and update tasks and deadlines on the fly?
ОтветитьCancel that free trial don’t trust yourself cancel it now
ОтветитьI've heard the motions android app has a lot of flaws including not being aboy to see monthly and weekly view which not recommended for people who predominantly use a mobile phone for task management
ОтветитьA load of shit, input the data yourself, you input all the data, they advertise it as a personal executive assistant, 250 a year? Suck my hoop... could hire an actual assistant for that price.
ОтветитьWould have really liked if you show yourself using the app and showing us the good, the bad and what they need to improve etc. This just feels more like an ad
ОтветитьDoes it work with Jira?
Ответитьalso, you cannot refund...after 7 days trial. for people with ADHD,who constantly forget :D sounds like a plan to get money lol like 300 dollars....
ОтветитьVery useful, we started using it instead of Google Calendar
ОтветитьThis looks like he hasnt eaten in months.
Maybe he needs to start worrying about his own health rather than trying to scam peope.
Does it connect with Outlook calendar & Teams? Also, can you run a detailed report to see where each team member has spent their time during a specific period of time (like a detailed timesheet)?
ОтветитьIs it just me but I honestly don’t have that much to do that I don’t need an calendar 😮
ОтветитьWhen they extend the trial period to at least 14 days - 30 would be much better - and they price it at $19 per month (£14 in the UK) paid monthly not yearly, then I'll give it a go and potentially sign up. Until then they simply maintain a huge obstacle to the 7 day trial being worth it.
ОтветитьIm forgetful and would need reminders to actually open the app.
What’s the notifications like and how annoying are they?
Helpful video. Thank you!
ОтветитьWish there was a more basic version for students and seniors. Cannot afford an ibgoing monthky committment with limited income.
ОтветитьIf you are able to become 137% more efficient in your work you should insist upon either a 137% pay rise or at minimum a 37% increase in holiday time before you actually start delivering this added value to your boss. Otherwise you are paying for something that only delivers value to your boss.
ОтветитьI would love it, but I don't have time to set up all the workflows. I'm sure there is a business out there that can do this service.
ОтветитьIt feels that the apps suits ppl whose work is mostly about meetings, meetings and meetings like HR partners / recruiters who needs scheduling for interviews between potential employees and hiring managers etc.
I mean most working people occasionally have meetings spike but over a week.
It's good to have an automated planner but the target audience is limited and at the end of the day if you are a normal worker, you are more of an executioner of tasks rather than a planner of tasks. That being said even if you use the app, it's up to the individual to really make the effort and apply what the bot suggested. You may have a beautifully planned calendar by the AI but if you just sit and do as you please, this app is useless.
Why is the teams pricing cheaper even though it has more features? If you are just buying it fourself you could just buy the teams version for 1 person, saving a lot of money.
ОтветитьInteresting insights on Motion. I’ve been using Astirna New Tab lately and it syncs well with my task management apps, which is a plus.
ОтветитьThanks🤙
ОтветитьI’m a software engineer and it seems a bad fit for me. I have maybe 2 hours of meetings a week and the rest of the time I’m working through GitHub issues that take a day or more. I guess I should either break them up in smaller chunks of an hour or so or have Notion break them down for me but I guess my flow works for me so I won’t change it
