They cut away when the move was done.

First trick was a basic double lift. For the second, you can see the smudged ink on his thumb. What you didn't see, because the director cut the camera away, was Asi loading it onto Vine's hand when he "adjusted" how he held them out. The spade was loaded onto the other hand. Very basic stuff, but it shows how effective it can be. Vine needs to learn to keep quiet though instead of trying to run the segment.

Yes - they were a couple of basic tricks, but, they were done well apart from annoying Jeremy Vine keep moving the empty box (sometimes magicians put the empty in a certain place for a reason) and for keeping talking all the way through the tricks and spoiling the effect.

For anyone who doesn't know Asi his trick are usually waaaay stronger. Also Jeremy is kinda of an annoying spectator. Asi handle him well

Mind blowing tricks? Any close up card magician can push cards around to where they want them in the deck. The "shuffle" is the illusion, nothing is being truly shuffled, the target card is simply being placed where it is needed. Pretty mediocre card tricks IMHO.

The card tricks are lame, and Vine needs to shut up.

Asa played it very safe with these simple tricks. He's capable of far more elaborate deceptions. Then again, Vine is so insistent on always being the centre of attention, perhaps Asa decided he didn't want to risk him messing anything up on live TV when he had a show to promote.
