How to Fix Screensaver Not Working in Windows 10 - [2024]

I ran:
open elevated cmd
sfc /scannow

It found problems and corrected.
Rebooted. Screen saver not fixed.

Ran:
windows update
troubleshoot
addtional troubleshooters
power
run troubleshooter

It ran the troubleshooter and found 3 problems. 'Corrected' 3 problems. One problem was the Screen saver wasn't 'set'.
I rebooted. Checked the screen saver. It turned the screen saver OFF.
I set the screen saved back on.
It worked.
