ОтветитьThat 80s guitar sound was just the best. I so hope it comes back.
ОтветитьGeorge lynch is such an underrated player. Tonally just on another level.
ОтветитьVinny Moore played with Alice cooper on a tour in the 1990’s and last I heard he was in ufo
ОтветитьInevitably, the first ad that played while I was watching this was for an online Yngwie masterclass.
Ответитьseriously there is nothing funnier then Lee cracking up for real, I just caaaaaan't :D
ОтветитьThree stupid frustrated guys taking about the things that they never understood!
ОтветитьThat piece of video with Michael Schenker, the TV logo is Telecinco which is a spanish channel, I wouldn't be surprised that was actually in an hotel room in Spain, yeah 80-90s were pretty brown over here 🤣
ОтветитьOkay, this was one of the funniest videos I've seen in ages. I was literally in tears (along with the Captain!). Please revisit this!! :P
ОтветитьOne thing I'm never ceased to be amazed by is how, the faster and cleaner the player, the less arm and hand movement there is.
ОтветитьI met Michael Angelo Batio at a Dean Guitars Clinic. He’s not my usual genre, but was a lovely fellow, very self deprecating
Ответить100% need an uncensored version of this video. I feel we’re all missing the best banter!
ОтветитьNone of the 80's shredders used a Gibson LP
ОтветитьSo Good!!! 😂

ОтветитьIngy from Sweden was hilarious! 😂
ОтветитьWhat a disrespectful stupid part of the second video on Yngwie. When you put the first video, the kid didn't believe what he was seeing.. All this guys you show before him,are clones of him. .This is what this 4 legends said about Yngwie.
Slash: “Yngwie literally blew my mind when he came on the LA music scene in the early 80’s. the fastest & most articulate, fluid, melodic, classical based rock guitarist I’d ever heard. Still the best at what he does all these years later.”
Steve Vai: “When Yngwie Malmsteen hit the scene in the early 80’s it was as if a monolith appeared. He was playing electric rock guitar in a way that seemed completely unearthly and had to be seen to be believed.
His tone was pristine and powerful, his vibrato, intonation and control was stunning, His harmonic and melodic sensibilities were unique, his emotional investment in his melodies was captivating, and his sheer speed and technical command of the instrument was utterly breathtaking to the point of frightening for some.
He absolutely set a standard of virtuosity on the instrument that has yet to be matched. He was a breath of visceral fresh air that inspired the movement of a whole new subculture of music. He was always unequivocally and unquestionably dedicated to his passions and delivered without any excuses. And since then, the bastard has just been getting better!”
I have had the good fortune of knowing him for the past 25 years and have stood next to him on stage many times. It always felt as though I was standing next to a mountain, solid, giant and forever.
A few things about Yngwie that some may not know is that he is remarkably intelligent and has a fiery sense of humor that delivers on par with his musical gifts.”
Joe Satriani: “Malmsteen loves to play guitar, and he’s really good at it. I know this from personal experience.
I’ve stood right next to him on many a stage, shoulder to shoulder, trading solos, celebrating our influences, taking chances, playfully testing each others limits and putting on a great show for our fans. At the end of every performance I was sure of two things: Yngwie is an amazing guitarist, and that there is only one Yngwie Malmsteen.
Let’s face it, every guitarist wishes they could do what he does with those six strings and a pick, but what he does is not only super human, it is undeniably unique and original too. There are imitators, some with equal proficiency, but none that can match the heart and the confidence behind his virtuosity.
The last time we played together was at Marshall’s 50th Anniversary Concert at Wembley Arena in London on September 22nd, 2012, and I think it was the best I’d ever heard him play. Yes, he’s getting better!
I was on stage just behind the curtain warming up with my guitar as I listened to Yngwie enthrall the audience with his impeccable and furious technique. But it’s his passion for music that really lights everyone up in the audience up. It’s the fire burning in those hands that make every note scream. He puts all of who he is, no excuses, no apologies, into every note and every sound he makes on his guitar.
There is only one Yngwie Malmsteen.”
Zakk Wylde: “You have Good Guitar Players. You have Great Guitar Players. Then you have The Ones that CHANGE THE GAME….
Like Jimi Hendrix & Edward Van Halen before him,Yngwie Walks Amongst them. It’s not Just his Sheer & Utter Mastery & Command of the Instrument that makes him Amazing. The Phrasing, The Vibrato, The Tone, His FEEL & PASSION along with the Overall Musicality That he brings to The table is what makes him so Special & Unique…. Where other guitar players, play fast and say Nothing, Yngwie Speaks…. If you’ve ever wondered what Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi & Paganini would have been capable of doing if they lived in the 21st Century, Look no further…. They All Reside within one Yngwie J. Malmsteen….and They are Smiling”
Also Frank Gambali is from Botany Bay
ОтветитьPaul Gilbert had the best vids, watched a few of those tapes that eventually turned into CDs, didn’t learn a thing, but then again I’m a bass player by trade, but the Gilbert vids were the mist entertaining
ОтветитьWho is the nob head in the middle?
ОтветитьYup, you're all a bunch of sneering twunts.
ОтветитьThe Dave Navarro Star Licks is actually pretty good when first learning! 🤘👽👽👽
ОтветитьThis is one of the funniest videos I've seen from you guys. You had me cracking up!
ОтветитьMick from that pedal show has one of those boogie cabs.
ОтветитьThe actual Yngwie REH is amazing & I have it on dvd too. If you want a "what did he just do?" Moment, check out Chris Impellitteri on REH. He will make you wanna cut your fingers off & quit.
ОтветитьAnderton's really needs a Patreon page or something for the uncensored versions of their videos. I would pay for that shit! Lol
ОтветитьThat was hilarious ! More vids like this!) Thank you)
ОтветитьWe need more of this.
ОтветитьAfter the half speed section I had to re-watch with this on half speed. Hilarious!
ОтветитьPaul Gilbert was playing Technical Difficulties
ОтветитьI never got the whole shredding thing , it's just noise not musical in anyway , no wonder kids left wanting to play guitar in droves in the 80s thank goodness bands like oasis came along in the 90s . Or am I just getting old lol.
ОтветитьClassic: you guys sounded like Beavis and Butthead here at times 😂
ОтветитьSo did the captain get convicted for the molestation case?
ОтветитьOh Fuck LMAO I can't breath gasp gulp puke!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThe blue rack units on Gambale's rig look to be Rockman MIDI Octopus switches
ОтветитьThat was funny ! Dang memory lane
ОтветитьThis was the best! Enough said.
ОтветитьYou get together and make a video to criticize and laugh at the serious work of some professionals who did the best possible in the time they live in. This video is a pajama party and your attitude of laughing and criticizing the work of authentic professionals (you would like to be) is for envious and spoiled posh girls.
ОтветитьWhat's a singlet?
ОтветитьIn the mid 1990’s my friend Mike bought a guitar instruction video on how to sound like Van Halen. The instructor was holding a note and down playing with the knobs on a Boss pedal and to turn it off he punched the pedal with his fist. There were other unintentionally funny things, too. It was hilariously cringe, even back then.
ОтветитьOkay, can't give a thumbs down to a vid with the classic Yngwie "I'm your new god" vid.
ОтветитьI always liked the Kee Marcello tape. That guy made sense in several aspects. I wish i could tell him "thank you so much"!
ОтветитьThe last one I think is Scorpion's guitarist!!!
Ответить
