HOW TO STOP BEING A LAZY HOMEMAKER!! | 8 Tips That Will Change EVERYTHING!

Hi, can someone give me some tips on how a homemaker can fast effectively .I have to ferry my ASD ( Autistic Spectrum Disorder) child to 2 schools in a day , do laundry, housekeeping, cooking . Please share with me how to fast, find time to pray, read bible. Especially the fast...when I will be ferrying her between 2 schls. In my country, they are required to attend the special schl and kindergarten, hence the 2 schls. Thank you .

So much of this is so relatable. I’m a homemaker without children and yes, podcasts or audiobooks help so much!! As well as forcing myself to follow a system rather than doing a lot of ‘little’ things. Cleaning as you go is so important too.

I also like to designate certain tasks for certain days.

I absolutely love this, thank you. I was listening whilst meal planning for the week. I wrote done Mon-Fri then stopped because I didn’t really want to think about what I’d cook for the weekend. But then I heard you say think about the end result. If I think about it now then I can’t make sure I grab those ingredients in my next food shop and will be less likely to order take out come the weekend due to not planning for it. I know I’m definitely going to shift my mindset now and start focusing on the “end result” when I start to procrastinate on things because that end result will be the push I need to get it done instead of putting it off. Thank you!

Verbalizing what you want to see happen makes so much sense but I've never heard that tip before. I always have a better day when I just say out loud, "I'm just gonna get it done!"

What are some of your favorite podcasts ?

I totally agree but I would add “ I’m gonna accomplish a, b,c through the grace of God”.

1. Speak what you want to see
2. Set a goal/plan of daily activities
3. Listen to motivational videos or podcasts
4. Finish one task before moving to the next.
5. Clean as you go
6. Resist temptation of distraction
7. Remind yourself that this is your ministry/home
8. Placing value of the end result over to the temporary feeling

I’m not a homemaker YET but this was so beautiful because even in my room I try my best to keep it clean it’s easier to have stuff all around when you feel as if because you haven’t met your husband yet it’s not worthy but doing these things even if it’s just in your room helps you and it prepares you for what’s to come and I wanna Thank God for making me a homemaker and walking with me through the journey when I do meet my husband Amen! 💕 a peaceful stable home is what I yearn for especially when your childhood had a lot of chaos!

It’s not always about time or money, it’s about time management and money management if we’re honest with ourselves. Excuses will only keep us bound to the cycle .

There’s a saying , it’s not that you don’t have the money , it’s that you choose what you spend it on . The same goes with time , it’s not that we don’t have the time , it’s how we choose to spend it .
