Learning To Fly - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

Hollywood Bowl about 3 years before Tom Petty died. The audience reacted to "Learning to Fly" the verysame way. We sang our butts off with Tom making it into a speactacular event, not just an ordinary version. He made it about 10 minutes, longer from this one that night. A friend of mine had earlier worked with Tom Petty to edit his Box Set Video for 3 months. He got me front section seats at cost. We even got to go to the band's after party. Best Concert I ever went to, never will forget.

Yes people Tom Petty was the real deal loving rocker. I got my first chance to see Tom play in 2017 Ottawa Bluesfest. After so many years away from coming to our city. I'm so grateful to see the Heartbreakers for my first and only time Will miss hearing all those new tunes.But, won't stop listening to the old 🎶🎵🎼🎸♥R.I.P Tom. Rick from Ottawa

Crowd control at the highest level. One of the most respected artist by his peers. Deservedly so. His music alone is top shelf then add in being a member of the Traveling Wilburys says it all

To be at a concert that captured that kind of magic is if you’re lucky happens once in your lifetime.
I’m 76 and once at state college in San Francisco in the late 60’s the Chamber bros played ( Time ). This audience reminds me of that.
It’s something you just can’t forget.
