Borderlands 3 - Before You Buy

A few things, but ultimately not too shabby. Who's your main?

Story is complete trash but the gameplay is good

Do you get stuck on bosses like the previous titles?

I love borderlands
I play it with my dad and I love talking about how good my guns are compared to his or vice versa

I played the first Borderlands in 2009 when i was 19. I loved everything about it. I also loved Borderlands 2 when i was 22. But now I'm playing Borderlands 3 in 2023 when I'm 33 and honestly I found the humor to be terrible. I don't know if it is just bad writing or if I've just grown up. But luckily the gameplay is still fun as hell so it didn't really matter that I didn't find the game very funny.

Borderland came free on epic some months ago

The story was always shitty. People always play for the gameplay. It’s always been better than destiny. Never understood why more people seemed to play destiny than borderlands over the years. Not sure why newer borderlands games are getting more criticism than games actually worse than this.

Looking at the game from a perspective, it is an AMAZING guy despite what he says. I grew up with the NES and PlayStation 1 and let me tell you - if this game came out then in somewhat the same formula (ala Borderlands 1) it would have been THE game of all time!
