Touch typing or even one finger typing is much faster and simpler, less frustrating and distracting than glide typing, if you prefer to type, not speak, as I do. People think we in different ways. Some have to speak their thoughts, others need to hear them. Others need to see a pictorial version. My Style is to see my thoughts as the written word. That"s how I think and learn stuff. But, it gets very frustrating and distracts thought when you have to keep checking up on the auto correct, predictive speech etc to see that it hasn't typed symbols you never keyed as Nd which then completely twists and distorts we hat you thought you had typed corr po ectly. Give me just a pllain basic typewriter keyboard without as lm the fancy hi tech bells and whistles. Because I am more focussed on what I have to say than having to keep being distracted by the technology NJ eeded to say it in writing. Sometimes getting back to simpler basics achieves far more than trying to be too unnecessarily high tech innovative,xsophisticated etcm it completely defeats the purpose. This CV omnrnt will contain mistakes precisely because of the very problem I am now trying to explain. But if I could simply type it on a basic typewriter style keyboard, it would all be correct. The speellling correction facility and punctuation predictors are fine. The predictive speech and how the app distorts what you we rite is definitely NOT ok. It makes typing absolute torture, though on a normal type writer,I would find it dead easy and so relaxing to do. I can actually think as I type. But on technology,with so much distraction from the wring system app itself, it is impossible to think as one w rites. So that is why I hate such apps and won"t use them. I might try Grammarly, but I don't expect any of these keyboard apps to be any better than the rest. I am not interested in voice to young. In Idon't think as I speak. If I ever used voice typing, it would by reading from a prewritten script only. To ensure I say exactly what I mean. But I do not try see t cc th we can system to accurately rep to odyce cc what is I CV orrectly CV as rticul as ted, reading it too from my prepared script. These f as ncy keyboards are a complete frustrating exercise in futi ii lity. Useless. Worthless to me and even worse,a nuisance and serious barrier to effective written communication bVery laborious, mentally exhausting. But others may like them. I can't,t imagine how or why, though....I'd like just a plain simple basic t to po ewruter. So by the as t CV if I am press, xx say it the letter "as" I can rely on my device to show just that and nothing else. .
