Fun thing to remember. If you see a horseshoe with ends up, it's too indicate how good luck can fill it up. And if the ends point down all the good luck pours out, and you lose all your good luck☺️

BIG SIGN before you enter the town, and in the town itself.. DOG MUST BE ON LEASH- dog running around everywhere.

Now I've seen it all a ghost town in the West in North Carolina give me a break. I can imagine it's like a dude ranch on steroids or something prim-and-proper.

North Carolina has no “western towns”. It is nowhere near the old west.

Last time I was there it was mostly abandoned. There were only a couple of places open and nobody there. They had some issues with their sewers. That place where you saw the dog, there is a little bar there where you can buy food and drink? Or it was a few years ago. Across the street, I bought an ice cream cone when I was there. You can find their page on Facebook. They had rodeos and stuff during the year.
