So new VTEC engines having vtec only on exhaust side explains there is no sound difference in intake just like the old VTEC engines right?
ОтветитьYamaha adopted it or copied it and called it VVA..
ОтветитьHmmm......a transmission in a camshaft. Of course!! Who whould have thunk? Yes, everyone😀
ОтветитьWhere does "E" come into play?
Ответитьvc ve q o video ta bom quando eu que nem falo ingles entendi como o VTEC funciona
ОтветитьUnless the engine is desmodromic, the cam-shaft does not close the valves; springs do.
ОтветитьSo is the intake already higher? Is that why it doesn't have the vtec to switch between lower and higher?
ОтветитьИнтересно как влияет эта система на расход топлива? У меня на Хонде ДВС К20 Втек с одной стороны. Много разговоров об экономии... Работая на бедной смеси ... Спасибо .
ОтветитьChampion!
Ответитьתודה!
ОтветитьWhy do you sound like Mark Rober?
ОтветитьThis is how Honda rules the head game! 💪
ОтветитьFascinating, the person or people who invented that are sitting on a beach with their toes in the sand, earning 20%😂
ОтветитьWas wondering if they could just have that more lift permanently on that exhaust flow since gasses coming out of them are already combusted and would not require more fuel?
ОтветитьAnd also other videos you make are excellent 👌. I watch and learn from you. Thank you
ОтветитьYour video, presentation, explanation is the best. Thank you Dear. Excellent ❤❤
ОтветитьGreat video! Curious as to why not have vtec on the intake too even with a turbo? Just that little bit more opening to push the air in easier? So even when the turbo isn’t creating a ton of boost can still push air in with less pressure. Is it due to simplifying the engine for less moving parts or to minimize cost?
ОтветитьHard to tell if this guy is 19 or 39😂
ОтветитьIt was a fantastic explanation in just the right amount of time.
ОтветитьHonda (V-tec maker) was really genius
ОтветитьAm I the only one who thinks your voice is extremely similar to mark Roberts? Lmao
ОтветитьI wonder, for exhaust, why not always use the higher lobe? I do understand the explanation of using VTEC on the intake valves, but on exhaust you could always use a high lift right? It just doesn't make sense to not get rid of all exhaust gasses during low rpm.
ОтветитьVery helpful thanks 🙌
ОтветитьThe Japans are geniuses.
ОтветитьWatching your videos on psychedelics are pretty awesome, so vibrant
ОтветитьLovely explanation and an amazing engine . Tell me which oil is used to create pressure to lock the side cams against the rocker arms and wer does the oil pressure act onto .
ОтветитьToyota has vvti
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank you
Ответитьdamn so they have toggle cams 😭
ОтветитьI've watched a ton of VTEC explanations and this is the best one.
Ответитьthanks, the explanation does help make it easier to understand
ОтветитьWhat Rpm does centre Cam start to work ?
ОтветитьYour videos are just excellent! Those Japanese sure know what they're doing when it comes to engines, don't they...
ОтветитьQuick correction, camshaft only opens the valves, what closes them are the springs.
ОтветитьDoes vtec not affect the cams duration ? Would it be worthwhile to get a larger lift/larger duration cam on a vtec engine to make at least a little more power?
ОтветитьIf the advantage of a low profile cam lobe is to increase air flow rate and increase mixture. But why doesn't the exhaust value always have the high profile cam lobe?
ОтветитьVTEC KICKED IN YOO
ОтветитьLiterally a 30 second video on how this works... Circumlocution does not equal education.
ОтветитьI’m trying to learn from u most definitely I ain’t never understood something so fast
ОтветитьSo from what I understand, vtec is like power band? Second question: vtec was on the exhaust side. How would the car perform if it had turbo and vtec on exhaust and intake?
ОтветитьI have never noticed any change on my Accord Vtec when accelerating. Is there an RPM area it should change lobes?
ОтветитьUr awesome. Great explanation.
ОтветитьThank you. Most educational, even though I'm not a Honda fan. That explains why Honda drivers are so cocky.
ОтветитьVtec was developed in USA by Lycoming during WWII! Honda just copied it!
ОтветитьI have watched a number of your videos and my knowledge of cars are very basic at present, thank you for simplifying the explanation of how the vtec engine works.
ОтветитьThe technology looks fairly simple, and efficient. My questions are that what are its disadvantages and why isn't it widespread in the automotive industry?
Ответитьwow, that explanation with that animations made me understand this technology with click of a finger. thanks!
Ответитьthanks
