I'm so glad I was born in time to watch bands, like this one, back in 1984, I was 23 years old, living in Germany! I was on a battle Tank crew, the driver at that time, in the US Army.
Every weekend, there was always something to do. If there wasn't a concert, there was a beer festival cookin somewhere! Germans LOVE beer! It was some fantastic stuff!
Europe in the mid 1980s was incredible. The Deutch mark rate was 3.8 marks to the dollar. One of our American currency netted 3.8 of theirs! I was living great, as a Private!!
