I have a 4 inch Long x 1/2 inch wide lump near my spine, vertical up and down, from the T2 -T5. It's been there for several years, it's chronic i guess. i use the lacross ball starting from the spine and roll it towards the scapula. The ball rolls over the 4 inch lump as mentioned, and never flattens out. Left side of spine. What can i do? From Toronto Canada.

I was diagnosed with the same condition after several years and tests. It was caused by standing for 12 hrs shifts because of my work. What helped me the most is acupuncture with muscle stimulation. I still can't stand for a long time, but I can do everything else.

Tried everything including these mentioned in the video. Nothing helped reduce the pain. Had injection yesterday and it only made the pain worse somehow.

Cupping is great, it brings temporary relief when the tension and pain becomes unbearable.

I have this condition for one year now. It causes me daily headache and pain around the shoulder regions. I want to exercise and get back in shape so bad, but the pain become worsen whenever I try to exercise. I had tried low impact workouts and I immediately got a throbbing headache and trapezius pain in the next day.

I had tried both dry needling + shockwave therapy, but I didn’t get any better. Any advice?

I have been suffering from this all my life due to sports injuries in youth. I highly recommend cupping to help with trigger points. It has given me a lot of relief and helped me tremendously. Sending you all love and healing energy.

Does anybody experience hard tight muscles in their neck/body? It almost feels as if my muscles are permanently contracted/constricted. I’m just trying to get an idea if this could be it. My doctor says it might be fibromyalgia but I felt rushed and he didn’t feel my muscles to really feel the tension.

This is probably me. MFR didnt work though. Just made everything clamp down tighter after a day or two. Injections got the most relief, but theres no places that do them anymore that take my insurance, and no docs willing to give a decent muscle relaxer. Im so tired of the debilitating headaches. Makes me wanna shoot myself.

Slightly on a tangent, but altered lipid cell membrane profiles such as increased arachidonic acid are associated with chronic pain conditions, and also lead to overexpression of enzyme sPLA-IIa, which is also associated with mortality in Covid. spla2a can dissolve cell walls so since muscle tissue is highly innervated with pain fibers compared to other tissue, muscle pain could the the canary in the mine.
I’m suspecting spla2a is the cause of muscle pain in Covid.

Oxidative stress can also upregulate spla2a.

My # therapist specializes with Nerves she knows all about them all the miles of them and has studied all over the world! It took me five years to find her, and they were trying to tell me my first opinion that I had to tendinitis then it was an impingement on the nerves. She has a special way of pulling back the layers of the onion to then there for a get in there and manipulate these triggerpoints with a tool after I have done my stretches! And first you need to heat your body and then you have to cool it down when you’re all done with ice packs I do this every day without fail now that I am in therapy, and it may take me over a year to figure or to get this all calmed down because there’s too many nerves involved!

I have this and have had all of these treatments and I also had many botox treatments. I still suffer. The more I use my muscles the more they spasm and hurt. The best treatment that I have found is ice and massage. Is there a surgery to get rid of the scar tissue as I know I have it. I've had this for about 30 year's and I haven't worked for almost 15 years because of it. It's mainly in my left neck/shoulder. Thank you.

9 years with this pain, and it got worse taking all the muscle chains from the left side of my body. The side of my face hurts so much, and don't get me started with my shoulder. I'll speak about this explanation with my physioterapist, without loosing time anymore.

If you live in Norther Michigan, the PT team in Kalkaska Michigan, in the basement of the hospitial, works very well in this area! I had been injured in a car accident and had been to many other doctors and pt places and nobody could help my pain, untill I started going there! Excellent place.
