What Mathew did is been done by every cricket team. What new Mathew did then? also, he did that after warning the non strike batsman again and again.
Now, what happened to Mathew is never been done before in the history of cricket. Mathew was ready to face the ball under 2 minutes but then when he adjusted his helmet he found out that the strap is broken so he went to replace the helmet but then sakib took advantage of an helpless batter and appealed the umpires to give Mathew out as 2 minutes were over. And don't forget this happened first time in the cricket history and that too with a batter who just went to replace his helmet as helmet is a compulsory safety measure. Moreover, umpires also requested sakib to withdraw his appeal but he did not.😊
