They need to add back expandable storage, an adapter, and the headphone jack. They can start a recycle program for adapters themselves but to not include the essentials is outright greed and bs. Pff, "saving the planet" my ass.

Edit 1 : I use a note 20 ultra niw and it's becoming bad with time, may switch to iPhone I REALLY DON'T WANT TO but I feel it's the better option for now ...

No 440 ppi I think 500 ppi

One of Samsung's worst designs, camera ulgy as hell and the curved sides makes it impossible to hold without a case

It just sucks bcs the fingerprint won't work with screen protection! I'm not able to use the fingerprint bcs of screen protector

Well he is wrong about one thing I have s22 ultra and it has a red stylus same as phone

My biggest gripe about the 22 Ultra is the weight/thiccness. Coming from the Note 20 Ultra, the S22 Ultra is significantly heavier and it's thicker. S22 Ultra is also slightly wider. All of these factors means the Note 20 Ultra feels much better in the hand, to the point where I was questioning if I wanted to stick with the S22 Ultra or go back to the Note 20 Ultra.

I think Samsung Ultra series is Note version

I made this exchange (iphone 13 pro max to galaxy ultra 22) and I'm very sorry, I intend to go back to the iPhone on the 14.
I switched simply because I was tired of the IOS experience and decided to see the neighbor's grass.

To be fair below my experience:
PROS
1 - there is nothing that you have on IOS that you don't have on Android

2 - the ultra camera is not better but different, it's a different one that I liked more (but it's personal taste)

3 - great screen and brightness

4 - Android more customizable what leads to better integration between apps

CONS

1 - face id much, much worst than the iPhone, terrible ! I want the notch back!

2 - I have dry hands and the authentication by printing constantly fails which makes the experience very, very difficult, especially someone like me who leaves a password for more sensitive apps.

3 - curved screen is beautiful but it's just a huge hindrance, especially for those who use film. To put film on a curved screen in Brazil you only have gel film which is a terrible, what good is a beautiful screen and a film that takes away sharpness, the one that Samsung sells is terrible!
I found in Dubai a film approved by Samsung that served me, but think of something complex to put on!!!! It's an engineering, and I put 300 reais on a film!

4 - battery much lower than the iPhone 13 pro max, but much lower.

5 - I miss IOS spotlight, swipe down and cursor already on search bar to find anything on the phone.
I did a workaround with Microsoft Launcher that have something a little bit similar

Finally, what bothers me the most was the authentication system, battery and curved screen. Now if none of this is a problem for you, I found Samsung's ecosystem to be "cheaper" and is a very competent product indeed.

And one last point, yes, the apps on IOS are still more refined, nothing that interferes with the experience, but it is what it is

The note died when they went to this narrow aspect ratio, and then curved the edges making the usable screen area even narrower. I'd go back to Samsung if they made a "Note" device that was actually reasonably useful as such.

Bring back expandable storage and I'll upgrade from the note 20 ultra

I would imagine another reason behind Samsung's decision is supply chain and chip shortage issues. A lot of companies have to cut back on options because of component issues.

Why the fuck would they make the camera extruded from the back of the phone. Can't they make a thicker glass back version and id pay more for it. If you want to use it as a notepad it's borked from the start

Keeping with the theme of new smartphones I like it but: no headphone jack, no included charger, and the Apple/Samsung philosophy of screw you we will give you what we want you to like and you will like it. Add to this the anti-repair features and yup you've got a 2022 flagship.

I used to have the Note 10+, but unfortunately the battery life on it just wasn't cutting it for me, so I decided to trade it in to get the S22 Ultra. And I love it. Reminds me of the Note 10+ in a really good way, and it's super fluid and responsive.

They should have just called it a Note Ultra 22

loved the review and having the S22 Ultra...The new camera bump design is superb subjectively, of course, I love it. Cases, instead of 1 big cutout its around each bump.
