for those with install problems: you have to write the image in dd mode and use another drive for the installed os then in the installation medium go to console and type lsblk to see your drive for installation then type gdisk /dev/your_drive then type o, type y and type w and again y. Now unplug the drive for the installed system and replug and beginn the installation with blendos installer

It may also need windows file system support as well. it would make windows users stay on linux.

FYI before anyone decides to use this try it in a vm first i installed it on hardware waydroid does not work at the moment no idea why i followed the barely documented instructions in the settings app and this is on the release it is not a beta but i guess expecting a distro made by a literal child to actually work the way it is supposed to is false

Only this is Linux with WSL for other linuxes.

I guarantee even before watching this video that BlendOS is not a linux distro killer, does not have the perfect blend of different apps. It may be working to that goal, but it will have its own issues, need more resources, not support something, etc.

distrobox is my distro killer. immutable distros are a little too hardcore and kind of swinging into the "howard hughes" level of paranoia if you're just a regular everyday garden variety linux distro hopper/gamer.

I installed the BlendOS repos on Garuda and tried to install blend-settings but unfortunately it didn't work for me. On the other hand, installing the nvidia 390xxx driver in BlendOS brought me serious stability problems. I think this is a visionary distro from the point of view of managing and installing Android and containers. I look forward to the developer team making it really capable. Please take example from Garuda and LinuxMX

anyway fuck this bullshit inruined my entire hdd with this crap i installed it at least 4 times since yesterday and its just unbootable

i dont understand what the hell is hapening i install this os as secondary then grub just doesnt show ,with external boot manager i boot from hdd insee GRUB and nothing else incant even type its not rescue mode.... this thing is just uninstalable idk what im doing wrong

PERFECT BLEND?? HARDLY-- it's GNOME--- if they dump that trash and go KDE then it will be WORTH considering..... I tried it- beautiful, FAST and seems solid- but I just can NOT get on wtih gnome on anything-- no work " flow" at all... just jumbled mess.... BUT- good news is theyre' changing it from ubuntu to DEBIAN SOON.... I did NOT know they had kde-- so I'll be trying that NEXT... becuse it IS GOOD-- and when it goes to DEBIAN it will be GREAT!!!

It is not as elegant as Vanilla OS, so I have installed Vanilla instead. Installing arch and Ubuntu packages is much easier.
