i grew up in northern Germany, later in my youth in Berlin mostly with rap / hip hop music, so you call me farthest possible away from north american soul and funk and i can't hold against it. But this performace moves my heart like nothin else. Today, I'm a big fan of Clapton and BB King - I can hear this music and see this video as often as I like to, I never get tired of it. The most fascinating fact to me when I watch this is how everyone's interpretation of "the Thrill is gone" in every single one's guitar solo is bringing through his very own personality and the way of playing his guitar - right to the point. Never seen anything like this before. Stunning performance.
