It’s been 5 years and it’s never fixed itself. Idk what to do at this point. I guess pay $1000 for a splint that may not even work.

Medicine doesnt cure anything, I have TMJD and there is nothing I can do to avoid it, a mouthgard doesnt do much, its horrible, pain everyday and no one in this world can cure almost anything.

but when that tissue becomes pseudo disk and causes no discomfort, the jaw misalignment still remains. Doesn't it? How that is corrected?

Idk man, I was just sleeping peacefully and when I woke up in the morning I had this clicking sound when I open my jaw.

Been almost a year now, it is irritating but it isn't painful nor my jaw locks.

My jaw pops every single time I open my mouth. Even slightly I hear a pop behind my jaw. It’s popping constantly when I eat, talk etc. it doesn’t hurt now but the amount of time it’s happening is concerning. I don’t want later for this to be something painful I can’t get rid of. Im only 26

Every single time I speak I hear a very subtle click on both my ears. Sounds like my Eustachian tubes opening and closing. I can also hear it when I move my head up or down or side to side. Can this be the issues?

I got it once. Started healing after 3 weeks and fully recovered in 5 weeks,
Dont worry for whoever is suffering it is TEMPORARY and not permanent, your jaw will be fully functional with no issues
Applying heat to the injured area and taking simple non steroidal muscles relaxants is enough to heal, and please dont try to forcefully put it back to place it could worsen but not cure.All yoy have to do is to have patience it will recover itself

When I make myself have an underbite, it makes a sound and I can feel it on my left side. When I put it back, it sometimes cracks. It’s good relief tho.

I would like to know if somebody experienced tinnitus while having tmj problem of any kind? Did you cure it and how? I will appreciate your answer much, since I have tinnitus and have cracking upper somewhere where is disc located. I have no pain.

I'm 14 and absolutely hate the clicking on the right side of my jaw 24/7

Mine is on the right. The ball joint on my left does not pop out at all (sometimes it feels like it doesn’t even move). Whenever I clean my ears, I can get way deeper in my right ear than in my left.


I climbed at 6 foot wired fence when I was 2 y/o. I slipped at the top and the wired piece went through my mouth from under my face which caused my injury. 28 y/o now and I’ve been like this since.

Mine has been clicking for over a year.. I wonder how long it takes to form that pseudo disk.
0 pain. No locking. Just extremely annoying. Can also click on command.

I dont know if anyone here could explain me what is going on with me. I can open my jaw wide open but the main problem is that I suddently stopped to be able to chew with my back teeth. It started after chewing in a cookie and i had pain on the right side of the jaw.

I'm twelve years now and not any better. My disc went to the side instead of in front and the other one is somehow stuck in back.

I 100% Have to have TMJ I have clicking Left (And right) My right isn‘t so bad just a small click, But my left jaw is in pain constantly, When it does click my friends can hear it and stuff it used to click, now im unable to open all the way yeepee and its been hurting for a week now nonstop and I probably i displacement because the place where tmj like starts or sm is sticking out there is a literal thingymbob sticking out on the left side of my jaw 😭

Fuck me this happened after i took too much amphetamine and my jaw was so fucking tense. I didnt even realise it was tense, only the next day suddenly my jaw muscles HURT so bad. After a few days the muscle pain stopped but now i can clearly hear the clicking

Hi, after a hook hit on my left, i think my right joint is dislocated but i have full movement it just hurts when i keep it open for a long time or try to meet my teeth. How long would it take to heal? And what kind of excersizes?

How can scar tissue be that similar to a disc? When is it called TMJ?
