so the heatbed maximum is only around 55c? thats not enough for ABS...
ОтветитьThank you for you video, I am going to pick up mine tomorrow from the courier. Lucky to see your brief explanation before I do my installation.
Don't know if Cetus change a lot in the released version.
anything new on a controller for the heated bed?
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure you'd be wrong here. A ribbon cable should not be used to handle high (relative) current (e.g. Heaters, motors, etc.). Get the schematics for the heat bed. I'm betting that the thermocouple runs through the ribbon. If I am wrong, than Cetus didn't safely design it and should seriously rethink things.
ОтветитьThank you for presenting this information. It is very encouraging. I have purchased the bed and the PID controller from Tinyfab. What power supply do you recommend? Sadly, I live in the US. Thank you again.
ОтветитьThis is very useful information, shame you didn't follow it up with a second video, as you suggested.
ОтветитьI just bought a heat bed and it looked nothing like this I was hoping it was like this but now I don’t even know how to turn it on...@_@
ОтветитьI cannot find any documentation on these heated beds, I have 3 cetus mk2's with dead electronics and I am trying to figure out how to connect power and a thermistor to these heated beds connected to some RAMPS I have on hand, from what I gather, these beds have no thermistor resistor and what I thought were a power and thermistor screw connectors are really just dual power screw connectors that power half the board and I need to kapton tape a NC3950 under the bed for temperature control, what a stupid suite of electronics the Cetus have, this is why it's a nightmare to buy proprietary stuff, absolute monkey job of backward design
