When i worked at a marina, i met some cool as captains. The boat owners were usually not as cool, some were, but captains always had that cool demeaner about them. Talking about the 65-90 foot yachts, which is what our yard had mostly. and sail boats.

Imagine if they dammed this up on all ends to make hydroelectric power.

Can someone clarify to a layperson…so in these conditions I’m assuming it’s advisable not to take your boat out but these people obviously are attempting?

My son died in a boating accident in 2013 if he was wearing a life jacket he would have survived the same with his best friend who passed with him they were 20 years old . don't ever think it can't happen to you because it can ALWAYS wear a life jacket.
