Zoom H3-VR: Using With A DSLR Camera

Can it line in to the camera without need to sync the audio later and can it still record the 3d sound that way?

Is there a way to have the H3-VR to start recording in its own format when the camera starts shooting video? I would like to end up with surround sound in my video by replacing the camera's audio recording with that captured by the H3-VR. Cheers, Nick

what would you recommend to automate a ...lets call it a "VR audio" file? as in change the depths and positions of the recorded content over time....this would be handy for ...well lots of things.....creative and otherwise.

can use it the Blackmagic pocket cinema 6 K camera

Curious how this would fare as an on table mic to capture a conversation between multiple people sitting around it. For a non-VR end product.
