Joshua's take on the NCR is so beautifully simple yet meaningful it literally represents the weakness of the NCR perfectly, their only God is power and money and they have no shame in admitting it.
ОтветитьNew Vegas will always have a special place in my heart truly an amazing game!
Not only is there no 'right' choice no obvious good or evil since people still debate that to this day. There are so many ways to play so much choice. So many factions and depth.
Imagine the game it could have been if they were let lose with time and resources!
Joshua Graham has this intimidating aura when he talks. Gives me chills everytime I hear his voice. Keith Szarabajka did a wonderful job with this performance.
Ответитьso they complained about Ceasar, but were even worse than him in the end? hahahaahhahaahha, Joshua was smart to disaffiliate himself from them
ОтветитьThis game has/had some of the best video game voice actors of all time.
ОтветитьI’ve only watched some video of FNV, haven’t played the game myself, but I already love this man and want to help and protect him (if there’s a need in that)… for some reason.
ОтветитьSo Joshua's main problem with the NCR is that they don't have a religion? Well, I can kinda see his point. Certainly a boring society to live in, when stand-up comedians have so little to work with
ОтветитьA fictional Mormon describes my politics and beliefs better than any politician or priest
Ответить"Any society that derives its power and authority from the will of man alone, lives apart from God, and will crumble in the end."
Cringe. God was the biggest genocidal maniac of all and was all about power and authority.
I like that he compares House to Caesar. A lot of New Vegas fans miss how similar the two characters are.
House is a self described Autocrat, and his version of enslavement is much more insidious (Through Capitalism lol). The only difference is that House isn't afraid to use Robots and Technology. Give House about 20 years, and he'll just be the new Caesar, the new Tyrant of the East.
I wish graham and ulysees brought up more about the big MT. Its clear Atleast Joshua knew of and had seen big mountain.
ОтветитьI wonder what Joshua thinks of the Brotherhood of Steel if he even knows of them.
ОтветитьLove his angle on House. Him and Caesar are essentially the same person just with different ideologies. They're both ambitious visionaries with their own idea of the future for the wastes, they both see Pre-War America as something to abandon unlike the NCR, and they're both want some level of societal change in the west. It's just that House wanted change through innovation and futurism, while Caesar wanted change through self-destruction and regression.
ОтветитьI'm very thankful that Joshua Graham is wrong about societies without god.
ОтветитьThe difference between Bethesda and Obsidian writing, it's like early Marvel who have everything planned up vs DC that just saw something good and half assed it it makes the others look even better than they are.
ОтветитьCrumble
ОтветитьBruh I just realized the Acadia synth has a very similar speech to this on the main factions - can’t have an original idea in the fallout games ☠️
ОтветитьFrom the way he was written to the astounding vocal performance of Keith Szarabajka, Joshua Graham is a character I could listen to endlessly and not get bored.
He is so insanely well spoken and captivating, yet never arrogant or flowery in his speeches. Godamn, Obsidian. Hats off.
If this were a Bethesda game, he'd tell you to kill 10 Moleratats instead.
