Farming Simulator 22 For New Players - Learning the Basics - Episode 1

thanks so much for the video. I could tell I would enjoy the game but had no idea how to start, and the tutorial doesnt help much.

I just started a few days ago and this is exactly what I needed thanks a lot you earned a sub from me.

I seem to have messed something up and the guided tour stopped guiding me after cultivating the first field. I ached and pained my way into dropping the harvested wheat into the silo and finish reaping the rest of it, but now I find myself..... stuck?

Is there a way to re-enable/restart/move forward the guided tour?

Thanks so much for doing this. I hit the wrong button on Apple Arcade and ended up downloading FS 22. I gave it a shot and am now downloading FS22 for my computer. As someone with no farming experience some things have been a bit confusing.

Not going to lie, majorily dissapointed by this video, going over settings not really new to people who have played games before; the information given was lacking and part 2 that was promised has not been delivered 6 months later. As a new player to the game I can figure out the settings and I can even google a cheatsheet. More useful would have been some recommendations on which equipment to buy with the starting money, what fields to purchase on which map and why, good first crops to plant and how to go about the whole process for at least one crop cycle with future parts delving into more niche crops.

Hi I'm only a beguinner but must have watched over a hundred of videos to know how to play but no video has ever mentioned rolling. My field was cultivated and sown..I didnt fertilize as in settings its optional but I was told my field needed it. Could you help

Great video as normal, wonders if you could help me, having problems opening gates and doors in the game, don't know why just go uptown a gate or door and can't seem to find the right control to open it, that's in both FS19 and FS22, I have to right the right game that I can open them. Red circle or left mouse button or what ever, seem time they don't even work, pretty strange, would appreciate any help you can give me, keep up the amazing work, hope to hear from you. THANKS

Have to leave you another comment! This is a great video, and thank you SO much for sharing "The Farmer's Handbook" -- that is just awesome. I play on my HDTV, and being able to blow that up and look at it so easily with just a quick Alt-Tab is just GREAT.

Love the video since I’m completely new to farming sim. For some reason me and my friends game doesn’t have the option of easy mode do you know why?

I learned a lot from my friend past 2 month but this is a very good bonus 😌👍

I just got FS22 a few days ago and will be creating a first-time reaction video for this sim for my gaming audience and I was looking for some idea of what to expect when I launch the sim for the first time. Several folks in my Discord are into this sim and have given me some ideas, but this video was a big help.

I grew up on a farm and have been playing FS since 2013, so I very much consider myself an FS veteran, but this series is brilliant and everyone can benefit from this. Great idea!

Great vid, been playing since 2009 but still found this interesting and I picked up something about graphics setting that I had missed so just goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks (I'm 74 and still loving it), Best of luck with this new series.

Terrific idea FSG, and looks like it will have more weight than the content race when FS22 was released. Perfect for me, as FS22 is my first entry to PC. Some ideas: loans & money, new vs used vs lease, the maintenance cost thresholds at 25% & 50%, sale bonus at store. And if you"ve still searching, unravel the mystery of dairy cows for milk, slurry and manure production by age!

Great idea for a tutorial series. I’m new to the game and community but a lifetime farmer. I appreciate your advice and find there’s always something to learn. I wasn’t aware of that achievement option. I’m learning too how to use windows. Still haven’t tried to down load mods except from the in game mod hub. 👍🇨🇦

Great video I remember when I first started I didn’t know anything I went bankrupt now I start a new game every couple days start with 40,000$ and build up to 750,000$

Great video for people of all ages FSG when I started their was a couple of videos showing how to play the game I think this will be a great help for new people to the game and as always you are helping the FS community and for anyone watching these videos don’t be afraid to ask people who have been playing the game for a while FSG community is very helpful in all different aspects of the game and are always willing to help in anyway they can because they have a vast amount of knowledge to help you in which ever way to play the game they if they can. Sept. 10, 2022 Mr. FSG, you are the AWESOMEST!!! Even though I've been playing since the end of FS19, these tutorials are going to be extremely helpful. There is soooo much I have no idea how to do and you always explain things in detail. I play on PC and ever since the 2nd update from Giants, the mirrors on all my equipment / vehicles, are blurry and look like I'm under water. I haven't got a clue how to fix this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a way to download and/or print the Farmer's Handbook? Thank you sir for everything you do to help not only new members, but all community members.
