The system is Exploiting and Trashing everything faster than all previous generations. The state of this site, near an active military base is a perfect example of the shear waste and corruption. Asbestos removal monies absconded !! An expensive piece of infrastructure just wasted. We need to rethink our government structures and start limiting the special interests.

I'm happy to know that the revenge of the navy against your documentaristic action is coming to an end without consequences. The local population is struggling by generations to have back places, terrains and coast line that are now abandoned but still closed and prohibited to the public because "military zone". The discussion about the demands of the inhabitants of La Spezia is refused by the navy with the excuse "we use all areas". You showed what they deny all the time and for many years: abandoned structures, asbestos, no activities. The naval base is famous on local and national papers for a robbery in the 90s (a commando infiltrated the very center of the base with a boat, taking away all the money to pay the personnel) and an illegal polluting waste area located directly in the sea. So your video was another burning bunch of pepper in the lower hole for the local italian navy. Italian navy it's really really reputation sensitive. The reaction isn't new: in the early 90s the navy sued a local politician for the publication of "general emergency plan in case of naval nuclear accident". Can you imagine be sued for an improvement of citizens' safety and awareness? Of course the politician won, but the attitude of the navy, trying to intimidate who informs the public, is still vivid. It's the only way they have to hide the reality of a "naval base" of the past and without any reasons to exist today. And even a 3th world war can't cange this ;)

One russian urban explorer blogger (Михаил МШ urbanturism cannel) gave a technical map of metro with special enterrence and ventilation shafts to other urban explorer blogger from Ukraine. After half a year he has been arrested for espionage (giving informationt about special facility to foreigner). He wasn't smart and put his trust on free govermental lawer (i thought everyone knows this scums work with police but like i said bologger didn't know that) who complitley ruinned his case, blogger pleaded guilty by his lawer recommendations. After some time blogger start to doubting about his lawer and find another one and fired the fist one but it was too late the first lawer ruined everything cause this type of lawers working with goverment. Normal lawer said if you took me first i would set you free but after job of your preveous lawer i can dicrease your sentence and nothing more. Giving a map to foreigner wasn't a problem, taking a free lawer was. Now this blogger spent in prison 3 from his 5 years sentence.

Hi! I am from the city in which the bunker is. The presence of the bunker was not a secret but nonody ever tried to go inside, because is strictly close to the military base. There are a lot of other sites (not military) to explore in that city, very famous to the Urbexers. But i don’t suggest u to try exploring those places, because unfortunatly there’s a high chance u could end up like the guys in this video

I do think you guys are crazy for not protecting your lungs. You are exposing yourselves repeatedly to asbestos but also to molds which can be very dangerous. There are modern respirators that are much more comfortable and will preserve your respiratory health.

Hi, an Italian urbex here. I visited almost every abandouned military buildings in my city. Mostly from the cold war (as I live near the jugoslav border) , I also found a lot of asbestos, but luckily i Always wear a Italian cold war gas Mask. I can tell that when a military Place, when abandouned , Is supposed to have everything removed, so I think that here someone forgot to do it. Another interesting things, Is that the soldiers used to burn in there the old equipment, instead of selling It or bringing It in another place
