How to Build a Raft Base Beginner- Ark: Lost Island E3

When you make the turn up the west coast of the map, the first two white hills will be separated by a small ravine. You'll find a couple of rich metal nodes and a couple of regular ones in there.

Is this still working? I've tried countless guides but it seems like wildcard might have updated this mechanic. I'm unable to snap any foundations nor ceilings at the bottom of the pillar. Or perhaps S+ mod is screwing with this?

Works great for mobile too. Only thing for mobile is that when lining up the fence, you need to move it a bit to the left so you can place all 9 foundations

Can you really build all that? Did you edit the amount of you can build in raft?

tip ive found:
stairs are better than ramps or sloped ceilings as they have a slightly shorter hitbox; ramps and slopes can bonk your head when entering/exiting through a sloping area. You can also toggle them to use a ramp model anyway.

Thanks though, ive never used fence foundations and it was driving me nuts not knowing how to sink foundations

Im building with stone rather than wood, the ramps are janky. 2 ramps dont reach the bottom, and it doesnt let me place more than one anyway as it is "too far away from platform" I feel like im just being stupid and the answer is in plain sight, but could you help me out please?
Edit: lol I was just being stupid. After looking into the video, you said ramps but used sloped roofs which got me confused. I was using stone ramps and to fix the problem i just have to use sloped stone roofs instead lol. Also I loved how you were able to put the foundations inside the raft that was so smart dude!
Edit Again: Nvm again you used ramps not sloped roofs i guess im going to try wooden ramps now..

Nice raft build. The server I play on must be bugged or something. The raft only has like maybe 30 'structures'. What a joke.

Why is it that when I'm almost finished making this, it says "can't place wooden double doorframe: there are already too many structures on this platform!", can you help me?

It says I can't add the railings bc theres to much o nthe structure

Rafts can hold 88 Structure pieces, and I've heard 1800 in weight, Items in container's weight don't add in, Dinos do though, though borg cube builds like this is hard to see to drive ... also you could have just picked up the canoe
