Nice video. However, all the atp produced is inside the mitochondria, how does the rest of the cell, outside of the mitochondria get atp to do their work?

Overall very good but I found a problem, the Citric Acid Cycle doesn’t produce 2 ATP directly, it produces 2 GTP that converts to 2 ATP, this all from Succinate thiokinase (=succinate-CoA synthetase)

How come both glucose and citric acid listed as c-c-c-c-c-c?

Doesn't one pyruvate go to making the acetyl for the oxaloacetic acid and the other into forming the Acetyl CoA meaning from each glucose you only get 1 total cycle?

11 years ago i copied this guys drawing by drawing it myself. I pretty much repeated what he said and got an A at the exam (oral exam). I was so confused about the subject until i found this video. A true godsend.

MANY VIDEOS ON THE KREB CYCLE CANNOT DO A GOOD JOB. ENGLISH NEEDS TO BE USED TO EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT AND THE FUNCTION. NO NEED TO GET THE ABC ALPHABET INTO PIECES TO EXPLAIN. PERHAPS PEOPLE THAT NEED TO EXPLAIN IT, DON'T UNDERSTAN IT QUITE WELL. If you cannot explain it to your grandma...you don't undestand it yourself.

Khan Academy videos are so relaxing for me. Not only that but I also learn something. Love it, 10/10

What I hate about khan academy is that the speaker always babbles too much

This guy should make a new school for everyone. If he did, it'd be the best school ever ngl.

This is why I love Khan Academy, these videos have helped me since I was learning geometry in middle school. Now taking my first Bio class as a freshman in college and I can always depend on these videos to clear up my confusion.

This video was very useful for passing one of my exams at the university back then.
