What do you guys do for the driveway?
ОтветитьI’m confused. I thought this was a perimeter spray. It would cost so much to treat your house that it would be like hiring pest control person.😊
ОтветитьGreat video- except he poured the shortest "10 feet" I've ever seen, lol.
ОтветитьI use the foam for our wood termite that fly into our home every year---you just drill a hole, use the foam--and then use wood dough to fix the hole and they are stopped.
ОтветитьI f*kt this one up. I used a whole bottle in 5 gallons of water, 4 gallons for ten feet of trench and one gallon to spray the backfill. Five bottles for 50 ft. I'm safe against termites, ex-girlfriends and werewolves. I have one bottle left and will mix it for 50 linear feet, not 60. That means 0.8 oz per gallon for four-gallon trench and one gallon to saturate backfill. A costly mistake but I can recover.
ОтветитьI have gravel in a trench around the house. Can I pour the termidor on the gravel?
ОтветитьHow much fl oz of Termidor SC do we need to mix with 4 gallons of water?
ОтветитьI thought this product was also for dry wood products, is it not ?
ОтветитьSo after you apply this i mean in all honesty how will i know that the termites are gone/ dead.?
ОтветитьWhat about occasional rain water, does it degrade the effectiveness of the chemical. Thank you for your reply.
ОтветитьSo if I have a peir and beam home do I just poor a gallon around each peir? Also how much should I mix to to a parameter around the house. My house is on 5ft peirs
ОтветитьThis will work on the outside if you have a monolithic foundation only and what about areas where you have a separate slab poured against the foundation? Bait stations are a joke. It might be in your best interest to contact a professional. You are missing some things.
ОтветитьThank you Clark Kent!
Ответитьhow much termidor for4 gallion
ОтветитьI’ve begun to see termites inside of my house will this application method fix that?
ОтветитьWhat do you do about sidewalks, driveways and patios?
ОтветитьJust digging trenches is not a complete termite treatment ( Drilling Slabs , soil injection , Increased volumes of Chemical depending on soil depth to foundation footing ) and for that work and effort you " Think " you saved money. Then you go to sell your home and the new buyer wants a Termite warranty with their home.. That is when YOU WILL PAY AGAIN for another treatment.... No one is going to Guarantee or Warranty your work. Termidor is great for Ants for DYI'er . Leave the termite treatments to the Pest Management Companies like mine of 35 years and others..we ALL warranty our work and its transferable to new buyers.
ОтветитьIf half of my house is surrounded in concrete, I need to drill every 12" from what I've read and seen, however the professionals use a tank, hose and an "injector" that they push through the drilled holes like 2 feet. Do you have any suggestions on a product to help with that for the average homeowner? I can drill the holes with my hammer drill.
ОтветитьCan I spray this in a bare wood attic space above the kitchen and underneath my stairs? Also, how would this kill drywood termites? I read they don't need soil to survive
ОтветитьInstalling using this method will leave your home unprotected as the back fill is not completely treated. If you are going to use this method push the back fill back into place when the trench is no more that 300mm deep then add the emulsion as shown. What you want to make is a sloppy mix against your wall so there is enough parts per million of control agent in the soil to provide a treated zone. The application rate is 100 Ltrs to a cubic meter of soil so mud is the result this turns out to be 6 ltrs per meter for trenches no deeper that 300mm and 1.5 ltrs for every 100mm of trench depth after that. I am a do your own person myself but I get all the correct information first. Remember that if you do it your self you have no call back but if done by a professional and you have a continuing problem you have a right of recourse.
ОтветитьQuestion. I applied today around 6pm and it is forecasted to rain tomorrow at 10am... will my application be ineffective?
Ответитьthanks for this...
btw, please tell the homeowner he needs to sue the contractor who installed his Hardiboard siding, that looks HORIBLE!!!
What is water to termidor ratio?
ОтветитьThanks you for the video
ОтветитьTermidor looks a little milky that bucket looked like water only. I’m sure the video was for training purposes only.
I hope 🤞🏼 if not that customer just got scammed. 🤷🏻♂️
Termidor looks a little milky.. that bucket 🪣 looked like water only. That customer just got robbed. I’m sure it was used for training purpose only or for the video. But you should have used some while you were already there. It was probably your house and preventative treatment was already done 🤷🏻♂️. Just saying there are companies out there that want to save themselves money on termidor 💰 at the owners expense.
ОтветитьI use it for those tiny ants. I use the sprayer. Spray along the outside of the entire house. I don't dig anything. Usually works for about 2 yrs for me. If I start to see forgers on the 3rd year. Then I will spray.
ОтветитьI’m kind of confused. The website says “Termite Pre-Treatment: Use 1 gallon of finished solution per 10 sq. ft.” Do I use 4 gallons per 10 foot or 1 gallon?
ОтветитьHello i leave in Miami florida. Here rain a lot. Question: even rainning the treatment stay in place or do i have to apply more frequently?
Thank you.
This is required every year? Dig the trench, etc.?
ОтветитьI have 2 brick and mortar buildings built in 1926 that I have purchased from family in hopes of opening a small business. They have original hardwood floors that used to be mopped down with motor oil back in the 1900s. Termites have made their way in... I am wanting to use this process to eliminate them. However, there are 2 brick and mortar buildings owned by other people that are connected to my buildings as well as a brick sidewalk lining the front of the buildings. This would keep me from being able to dig the trench on the exterior of the buildings. We plan to gut the buildings and redo the floors. Can I do this process on the interior of the building when the flooring, sub flooring and floor joists are removed exposing the ground?
ОтветитьSo if you put down 4 gallons per 10 linear feet do you mix the 0.8 oz per gallon inside that 4 gallon pail or 3.2 oz per pail? Thanks so much!
ОтветитьPerfects, right to the point.
ОтветитьI have termites in my restroom and bedroom walls. I dug a ditch on that side of wall but can I drill through bricks and spray into wooden cavity or would another product be better for wall cavities.
ОтветитьIt`s a nice video! Could you tell me whether I can spray Termidor via weep holes in brick veneer, please? To apply it in between bricks and drywall voids, please? Some people advices to do that, but some is against taking Termidor is for outside use only. Thank you
ОтветитьIt`s a nice tutorial! - to dig the soil or to drill holes when there is a concrete driveway. But what we have to do when a timber decking (hardwood) is meeteng an outside wall (brick veneer), please?
There is no appropriate gap to dig a tranche there. Do we nwwd to take all the decking out for the digging and treatment around or threre is a ssmarter way to do this, please? Thank you
How do you apply it when you have pier and beam foundation with a dirt floor crawlspace?
ОтветитьI find it easier to make up a gallon mixture and do the digging 2.5 feet at a time. A gallon container is easier to pour from and it's easier to get the mixture to distribute evenly when the ditch is shorter.
ОтветитьGood video i use this chemical alot and id recommend using dirt to "dam" the solution so it doesn't run off into lower points, i use a 9lt watering can with the sprayer head pulled off and a restriction (small hose) put in it so it doesn't gush out and i get even application, and do this with the backfill also and it goes further and it does a way better even job.
ОтветитьConfused... is the video about ''preventing or destroying'' termites in home? Video shows you treating the ''soil'' around a home... but below you say, ''If you are doing a termite soil treatment, then you would have to drill through brick or concrete to get to the soil underneath.''
Do we need to drill through brick or concrete and treat soil underneath home?
My home was infested 6 years ago and they did it through brick & concrete to treat soil under home, plus they did a trench like the video.
If I do it myself, do I just do a trench or would I need to apply under home again? I thought the company had told me that when it was time to retreat, they would drill again, plus do the trench. BUT company just switched to Sentricon Bait System, so I am exploring options.
I’m sorry but if termidor is a non repellent ant to treat the trench then why would you need to treat the soil you put back on top. Termite live in soil so they should hit that treated soil an inch below them almost immediately. That did not make sense to me
ОтветитьWhat if I have brick floor on my patio ?
ОтветитьI check a lot of woodworking handbooks. These one from woodprix are the best.
ОтветитьThat's Clark Kent.
ОтветитьI absolutely agree..... what about rodding the soil DIY. You are doing the consumer a major disservice as you aren't telling the whole story here. No self respecting pest professional applies with a bucket.....show me on the label where that's legal in any state!
ОтветитьMy house is built on a hill so it has a decent sloping grade to the land. How do you deal with a slope when using the trenching method? how do you evenly distribute the poison mixture?
Ответитьwhat's the best method for injection into concrete porches (stoops)? could I use a pump sprayer shoved down the hole I drill or a small longest funnel I can find?
ОтветитьWhat if i'm right on top of my well? might it poison it?
Ответить
