I know thats expensive and all that but if I saw some one with that I would just laugh
ОтветитьPocket in a size that rivals a Canon 5D (or 1DX with that grip.) Hmm, ok.
I am actually interested to see how well this rivals the older 4k Ursa Minis though.
We got it is big but I'm not gonna say the joke ok I'm tempted but no bad I have to end this xD
ОтветитьNever really liked those battery grips. Unlike the canon ones that go into the camera's battery compartment, this just holds on to the outside and unless you've managed to get it really really tight on it, it's never really secure enough and just wobbles. I have one on the GH5, it's just frustrating to use but thankfully, you don't really need one for the GH5. You'd probably need one for this...
ОтветитьSavin 4 dat Ursa'
ОтветитьCool !
ОтветитьI don't get it. Why do you guys show 50fps footage when the video is uploaded only in 30fps? I get that you store all your raw videos and need tons on Terabytes already, but at least for those camera review a high fps render would be nice. None the less, the review was great :D
ОтветитьYou're spoiled kid. You like being spoon fed. You complain of things that dont even matter.
ОтветитьBrandon should do more often camera reviews and smartphone camera comparison for upcoming flagships . He is an awesome camera reviewer .
Ответитьwhy dont they do it with the mft mount i like that body more than the 4k
Ответить$500 for an EVF is really cheap...
Ответитьnext you'll be complaining about how apple magic mice cant get you into hogswarts
ОтветитьI dunno why but i really enjoy this guy reviewing cameras, wish they would do more of him showing diff cameras, would be cool to see him do a vid on dslr streaming options, like with a cam link
ОтветитьWhat lens did you demo a show the 6k with?
ОтветитьThere was a point in time when blackmagic was selling the original pocket camera for 500 dollars, so that price for an evf does seem a little bit excessive 😆
Ответить“If you’ve been looking for an affordable video camera you’ve probably heard of blackmagic”
costs $2000*
I own a 4K.
Would not buy the battery grip or EVF. Just ... useless.
I only use the internal battery when I want to be as small as possible, otherwise, use a professional battery system.
As far as the EVF ... it's better than nothing I suppose. I mean the quality is good for the money, but why replicate the bad for cinema ergonomics of a photo camera? How about something you can stick on a special cine arm with internal cabling/connectors and let me put it where I need it? ::sigh:: I'll skip it.
The EF mount and ND filters are the reasons I am gonna upgrade to this model. I mean, I may use the dual XLR, but not likely for most productions.
That's what she said
ОтветитьYou can literally buy another camera for the EVF hahaha
ОтветитьMan..what camera was used to film this? looks amazing
ОтветитьThey said it would fit in a pocket. It just happens to be a backpack pocket.
The main pocket.
But a pocket nonetheless!
Great video. Wondering is that the sigma zoom? Do you ever worry about damaging the flange not using rods or is the lens light enough? Looking for reasonable prices cine zoom. The dzo zooms are too big and you need rods. The tokina Vista zoom are a bit big heavy and cost more than the sigma 18-35 t2. I really want to avoid using rods unless I am using one of my follow focus devices.
One other thing, is it true you need to use a lut when looking in the evf?
Thanks so much. Be safe out there.
I'm curious how this is going to stack up against the GH6 when it comes out. Same price with a built in EVF and notably better battery life if it follows the tradition of the gh5 line, smaller lenses with the ability to adapt up to big cine lenses, and the KILLER IBIS that has become standard on the lumix g series... I personally think a run and gun style cine cam without IBIS is a complete nonstarter, as someone that likes non-electronic cine and vintage glass for video production. The smaller sensor is a bit of a pain but I've never had trouble coaxing depth of field out of the system
Maybe I'm just bitter at blackmagic for abandoning their commitment to m4/3. Okay, not maybe, that's DEFINITELY part of it.
Can you do a review of the A1 as a hybrid camera?
ОтветитьHow else are you going to add an optional battery pack to a camera? If you don't like it just don't use it. That is why it is an add on not built into it.
ОтветитьIt's a lot bigger than i expected is said 500 times
ОтветитьHow about a video on best cameras within $1k
Ответитьsupprised there is not much "thats what she said" jokes here
Ответитьbro im going to start calling it the "Backpack 6k Pro"! lol
ОтветитьIt's a pocket CINEMA CAMERA. For a cinema camera it's still small
ОтветитьWow, this has to be one of the worst reviews for this camera out there. Criticism is good and all, but maybe using the camera before decided how good it is would be better.
ОтветитьJust got this camera myself and compared to a c100 mark ii it is proving much better to handle for nature videography.
Ответитьnot sure if the camera is really that big or if he has tiny hands
Ответитьterrible review
ОтветитьCould address the problem with Blackmagic cameras. They will not change a sensor if it goes bad. So this is the only camera manufacturer that will not stand behind their camera???? I do have two of the pocket cameras and one of the units has a bad sensor Blackmagic told me that it is not their policy to change out sensors.???? Not good news.
ОтветитьI have the new 6K pro G2 with a battery grip (£ 66-second hand with 2 batteries) and yes well worth the money, I love it and yes it is very big.
Ответитьtakes lens adapter off and puts open sensor in his dusty pocket
0.0
Honestly kind of want to grab one of these to replace my Canon GX10 (the body retails for the same price that this whole-ass camcorder retailed for in 2017 so, like, it's entirely doable).
Ответитьdid you say ''the pockets have always been very power effecient?? no they arent ahahah
ОтветитьThey call it the pocket so it won’t kill your wallet😂😂😂
ОтветитьI wonder what's the difference between the pro and the regular one
ОтветитьFor me, the biggest drawback is the lack of 120fps in 4K
Ответить"affortable" aha.
ОтветитьCorrection: When I said Blackmagic cameras are power efficient, I referred to when they are being used with V-Mount batteries. The battery life with the standard in-body batteries is still bad and always has been.
